I really wanted to hate that because a) post-And-Justice-For-All Metallica sucks, and b) so does smooth jazz (although I wouldn't quite say that even qualifies as smooth jazz). But, that was pretty damn amusing. His Crazy Train may be even better, at least during the verse and chorus. The death metal ones are doody.

Following the related videos I saw Lady Gaga - Polka Face, which is an obvious but necessary parody given the song's title, and also reminded me of FAITH NO MORE - Poker Face (Lady Gaga), which I would say puts that no-talent, pop-tart, plastic sleeze to shame. Oh, and of course, the obligatory "Weird Al" Yankovic - Polka Face (I recognise about 3 of these "songs," and one of those only because it's a straight cover of an 80's hit).

Not to 1-Up ( >_< ) you again, but I was reminded of these old mp3's I downloaded back 2002 from epitonic.com, by a guy who refers to himself as 386 DX, who has apparently been at it since 1998. "Synchronized text-to-speech and midi synthesis." That's right, computer vocals.

His version of that awful Nirvana song can be heard on that site. (The other mp3 I have is of Anarchy in the UK, and I say the computer sounds more maniacal and sinister with its opening "right... now... hahahaha.") As you'll see, they're all overplayed, mostly crap, pop-rock songs, but that's appropriate for the funny.

And speaking of saxamaphones: Laddio Bolocko - The Going Gong
