) you again, but I was reminded of these old mp3's I downloaded back 2002 from epitonic.com, by a guy who refers to himself as
386 DX, who has apparently been at it since 1998. "Synchronized text-to-speech and midi synthesis." That's right, computer vocals.
His version of that awful Nirvana song can be heard on that site. (The other mp3 I have is of
Anarchy in the UK, and I say the computer sounds more maniacal and sinister with its opening "right... now... hahahaha.") As you'll see, they're all overplayed, mostly crap, pop-rock songs, but that's appropriate for the funny.
