I'm one happy little bloke right about now .... I've finally got my wireless 54g card working in in linux

Damn Belkin doent have linux drives

In steps a great soureforge project named NDISwrapper

It basically uses the MS.winblows driver, wraps its own code around it and makes a module you can load the normal way.

Unf'ken real. Soon there will be no need to go back to windows :)

sourceforge is god, although i'm entirely sure who is paying for all that.

that company's using it as a 'loss-leader', perhaps? it's not entirely run by donation, anyway, as my understanding goes...

Good question. I know that some time ago SlashDot, another OSDN venture, began resorting to advertising in order to recoup some of the expenditures.

my theory is that sourceforge has small but deadly binary corsairs that travel the net raping and pillaging small unknown hamlets in the global village.
