comparison...

Post by 2020 »

i rather like less titles
the less words the better

eg
take a central line between the two teams
the round number
upwards AW
downwards SL

from the central round number row:
captured zone scores row
scores from core-dumping row
overall score row
then put in the blocks of colour

don't think you should highlight with squares
perhaps this should be left to a presenter
that is
to circle particular stats
but if you are going to highlight
i prefer the tiny triangles...
more discrete

not sure about the rest
would have to see how it looks so far...

i think i have excell...
perhaps you could sent it to me
then we compare versions....

don't like the graph on the right

with that layout
i don't think you even need words

perhaps just a title for the whole caption
and of course player names...

total sum on the right
should equate with the name column on the left

perhaps the title could go at the bottom somehow
with the legend
and i am not sure about the stats at the bottom...

...
still i like your first version
the blocks in the middle...
hmmm....
perhaps do a poll if anyone is interested...?

btw
here i am discussing all this
and the sad thing is
my scores were the worst
if you can count 0 as a score
hhehehe

1) use the latest WinRar
2) use the latest MS Office

What is problem? WinRar or MS Excel?

yeah, may be it's better, if someone wants to show it in Armagetron-client instead of usual overall scores
2020 wrote:has the same stuff as your first one

Yeah, it's true. But I wanted to see all possible information, so I added toooo much.
2020 wrote:how the fcuk do you zip a file?
using WinRAR: http://www.rarlabs.com/

i have a mac
and files are unpackaged
but i am not sure how to package

one thing it should show
is the ping
perhaps the average ping
for each player...
is this information contained in the log?
if not
is there some way of picking it up
just to give a rough account of the conditions players are playing...

what do you think?

(
i have no idea how to send the appllication file back to you
: )

too minimal?
i kind of like the symmetry
and bold for comparative emphasis...
but...?
