Master Server List

Ok, well I've have been hosting a couple servers for a while and this past summer I went on vacation. I was gone pretty much the whole summer. I left the servers up and they seemed to be fine cuz I played on them during my vacation. Then about 2 weeks went by and I didn't see the servers and I just thought that my server had reset itself, which it had. So I started all the servers again and now for some reason I can't see them in the master server list. I can custom connect. I thought that someone else had this problem a while back and I was just wondering if there was a way to fix it. thx - ~*SP*~zero

If you're back home now and the servers are on the same network as your client, don't worry. It's normal that they don't show up for you. A future client will fix this, in the meantime you have to use the LAN browser to connect and either ask others whether they see your servers in the master server list or check whether your servers' IP shows up under the unreachable servers in your browser. If it does, everything is fine, the master can see your server, and the other players probably too.

I don't host on the same network that my home computer is on. Also I have talked to other players and they can't see my servers either. I thought it might have been related to the whole private server thingy or somethin.....

EDIT: The servers that I host atm are ~*SpeedeRs*~ Server and American Fortress Server. They are online right now.

Maybe the master server trobule has been hitting you. What is your setting of dedicated_idle? The default of 24 is safest, the server will then re-contact the masters every 24 hours.

I see a "Speeders Classic" and an "US Fortress" server up. Are those yours?

i was messing with a bunch of stuff and wouldn't you know i got a server online. (zero's test server) i'll fix the other ones later on. thx for all the help. later
