Has anyone made a bike trail texture that is all transparent except for large circles so it looks like you are leaving behind Pacman dots? Just a thought. I haven't played around with Fireworks enough to figure out transparencies in pngs.
I've made aobut 40 experimental wll images but no pacman dots...got a cool playboy centerfold texture though, gives you somethign to look at while you are grinding

hehe, ive got one of those two, except my girl is spread eagled lol, though i must say, things move to quickly to enjoy it
i tried the pacman death sequence once, if you go fast enough it looks like pacman dying on the area between the bike and the wall, i dunno what i did with it tho, it was alot of work
i was looking at some of the custom .png bike trail walls in photoshop and they all got displayed as pure white. i couldn't figure out if WHITE was supposed to be the transparency color or BLACK, or what. in a .gif you will see the checkerboard pattern to indicate transperancy, but apparantly png's work differently...
or maybe there is something quirky about my photoshop settings...? (i must admit i'm a very mediocre photoshop person)
i have to use an older version of PS (5.5) because of my OS (98SE). i did try to use black as a transperancy but all it did was draw black walls in the game- very scary- looked like some kind of 60's hippie black light / neon thing...
I just tried out a black bike wall and it is pretty cool. I've attached my modified wall. It has the colored strip at the top and bottom, segment line, and arrow.
Try this one out. Almost pacman dots, but I still need to figure out how to get rid of the 30% transparency of the whole texture. Almost hypnotic at high speeds along another wall.
altho when i click on the dots-one to display in another window, it also shows up completely as white, even if the background pane color is not white itself. something fishy is up here... maybe i should GIMP instead of PS...
