rude, if i recall from long ago when i was playing with the moviepacks, you should be able to get normal speed if you simply disable the special bike model, i.e. the ASE file. simply give it a different extension or something and arma will just use the default model.

i think i once got a response from manuel a long time ago on this issue- he said something like the code for the custom bike models hadn't been optimised to display less polygons & detail at a distance. so unfortunately, bikes that are way off at the edge of your display still get drawn as carefully as bikes that are right in front of you.

simply disable the ASE file and you should be fine.

EDIT: btw, killer-looking designs, ladyX! and might i suggest editting your first post a little? you forgot a bracket on [ /IMG ] tag that will display your screenshot.

rude, if this isn't clear maybe you say it to her in french?

Very nice :)

Would you be able to supply us with the high resolution version too, for those of us that can run larger files?
Thanks for sharing Lady X.

There is no visible difference between the 2 versions. I just forgot to "compress" layers on png. If u want, i can give u maxfile.

very cool movie pack LadyX, although for some reason, it's really dark, i tried all display otpions to see if it would make a difference and the dual texture plane finally made the grid a color I could see, arena walls are still real dark

...the bikes are very cool..gj

hi, very nice moviepack - love the bike and trail textures :D (seems like loc i couldn't see the rest but it might be my settings)

what rk was thinking of is that you can increase the sizes of the texture files for higher contrast etc. an example is the arena walls which by default are 256x256, on my pc with the moviepack i'm (sometimes) working on i use 1024x1024 and it's a whole different world. two versions: a high-resolution and a normal resolution is therefore a good idea :D

great work! i hope we'll see you here a lot more (and on the grid as well)
