i think california should invest in large bombs to destroy the san andread fault line, float out to sea and declare itself an independent country and then invest in a fleet of super tankers to carry it around the world latching on to other costal countries to raid and pillage their supplies of hair gel and liquor. But thats just my opinion

this sounds like a the party that raided an pillaged a planet in their flying building out of "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" by Douglas Adams. The building that hits Arthur in the small of his back.RUDEBOY! wrote:i think california should invest in large bombs to destroy the san andread fault line, float out to sea and declare itself an independent country and then invest in a fleet of super tankers to carry it around the world latching on to other costal countries to raid and pillage their supplies of hair gel and liquor. rude, that was awesome... keep it up! but subby, you are mistaken:
it sounded more like the "amalgamated investment corporate savings and loan" (or whatever the name was) that sailed the seven seas in their office building looting and pillaging the stuffy microsofts of the world.... before getting too brave and falling off the edge of the world.
(from monty python's "meaning of life")

Actually, HHGTTG predates that movie by 5 years, The meaning of life was made in 1983 and the BBC radios' HHGTTG was broadcast in 1978. On a side note Douglas Adams in conjunction with John loyd of Monty Python cowrote the Meaning of Liff to coincide with the movie also relesed in 1983.nicolas.b wrote:rude, that was awesome... keep it up! but subby, you are mistaken:

We are here today to talk about tomorrow. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow will soon be today.
FYI, if you didn't know already - The BBCi film is remaking "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" Woot, hope they don't blow it. I always liked it, the books, radio show and the 3 hour movie.
Three maybe four books in the series, I don't recall. Oh your taking about the Life of Brian? not sure on that one.
