Post by Sabarai »

It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice.... :o

You all should go play it :P It's the best single player game EVER. You should've seen the movies though... But anyway, I'm playing the godfather the game now, instead of every other game :P

Everybody looks like the actor in the movie, even Sollozo and Bruno Tataglia. Marlon looks awesome. Only Michael looks a bit different... Go check the game :P

Gnorty, its a game from EA, Dont hold your breath (**** EA)

This is EA's last resort to making money was thhis game, after being delayed multiple times. Fortunately for them I guess it isn't bad. Too bad ea needs to crumble.

Last Game I ever bought that bared the EA name was last year, never again will i get anything from EA.

Sab, Gamecube rocks, you know it does. I dont have one personally, doesnt have enough games.

Make money? Make name, the costs were highest costs EVER on a game since they had to buy rights and hire the actors (James Caen and Al Pacino for instance)..

There, you just told us it sucks since there are no games for it...

In terms of selection, I do get somewhat irked by these developers who will make a game for PC, xbox, and PS2, all three of those, but leave out the cube. Makes no sense to me, even from a market perspective. Why can't I have Star Wars Battlefield?

That said, come on, there are nonetheless plenty of games for the Game Cube—certainly more than enough for me. I would be very disturbed with myself or anyone else who would need a great deal more games than the cube offers. Yo, read a book, for cryin' out loud. Go outside. Seriously.

And most of them aren't Nintendo franchises, either. Just look over a games list.

Final point: When looking at the three consoles it's so forking stupid for little fanboys to make like their preference is superior while the others "sux!" What it really comes down to is which of the three carries the specific games (i.e., exclusives), as well as the general types of games that one wants to play. (Or, if you're like me, you may also throw in the boycott of Microsoft for being an evil corporate empire. Something, since it was mentioned, to which EA has been aspiring, which is a shame.)

True, but GameCude makes it nearly impossible to get games published. Also they want to have it's own games, and not share it with other consoles...

I didnt care for Battle for middle earth a whole lot, Junior High kids are smarter than the AI

Sab: Battlefield2 was the last game I bought from EA

This is the last time I buy an un finished game.

Its pretty fun if you play with someone else. But if it was handeled by another developer/publisher, it could have been much better.

Saying the Library is low on the gamecube doesn't mean its a bad system. Resident Evil 4 anyone? Holy crap.

You're right, its about the game types/selection available to the player, that is the way you choose your console (well should).

For me it's always been Playstation, just because I get into a lot of racing based simulations. My interest of consoles sort of died after Playstation1, haven't really played a console since it's demise by PS2 (oh of course a couple of times at a mates place).

I'm a PC fanboy, always have, always will be. I'm big on First Person shooters (excluding steam made games). Oh yeah and of course Armagetron 8)

Anyway, back on topic,

Looks nice, I’ll have to check it out, heard some good reports about it.

Sab, all the consoles have exclusive titles. Um...Halo...hello? And look at what Microsoft did buying out Rare. Come on.

Kanga, you know PS2 is backwards compatible with Playstation games? I dunno if the PS3 will be. It ought to be. That's a great draw, as I see it. Then this Nintendo [whateverthey'regoingtocallit] is supposedly going to allow one to download games from the NES through to the Cube. That's rad. They'll prolly charge for it, though, huh. Meh.
