[[ oh heck why can't I stop boasting about our films ]]

"fear - the movie" is REALLY BRILLIANT !!!!! it'S the best movie made by a bunch of 14/15-year-olds you'll find ANYWHERE !!! And that doesn't mean it's pure amateur class... [30 minutes]

i'd better start on the english sub-titles... anyway, here's the german trailer:
http://jollybox.de/Feartrailer.wmv [WMV9, 8.1MB]

I suppose german speakers could get it without the subtitles...

Oh well I did finally see this movie cause I bought the DVD and I must say that Fonkay is damn right.
This movie is so bad it hurts. Just one location and always the same scheme of killings.
So whenever you see this Image
hands off and don´t even dare buying.

So now the Top 5 are:
1.)The Grudge
2.)The Forgotten
3.)Troy
4.)Titanic
5.)Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions

Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that a movie starring Buffy is bad? Get outta here!

Anyhoo, here's another submission: Any Lifetime network movie. The title doesn't matter; all follow the same premise: Women are inherently weak. One must find herself the victim of some sort of horrible trauma and/or betrayal (e.g., "a woman scorned") in order to go on a journey of self-discovery and then, and only then, come out the other end a strong and empowered woman—but often only with the help of a big, strong, handsome, verile, conveniently single and wealthy man who happens to know all the right things to say. Saccharine ending required.

For a channel that bills itself "television for women," it sure is damned sexist. It reminds me of the Independent Women's Forum or Concerned Women for America—the kind of deal where you think that surely they're actually rich, old, patriarchal white men who have been transported through time from the 1950's and are just masquerading as women. But I digress.
