Moviepack list needs updating

The moviepack list needs to be updated, all the urls point to guru3.sytes.net. Very hard to browse.

Lucifer: The use modlist was created for the purpose to share the burden of administrating said list. As I've a) lost the password b) dont remember who else was there to help me, I re-open the invitation.

All: Join "modList" and bring to the community the most complete list of textures, models and moviepack
-no need to know html, it is written with forum [ b ] bold and [ url ] links
-flexible hours
-Easy work! After someone spend countless hours making something nice, you need less than 5 minutes to index her/his work in the list.

pm me your interest and I'll bug tank for a new password.

I noticed that too, but I had hoped there would be a way to fix all [ url][ /url] tags in the forum which still point to guru3 ... I'm not sure but perhaps it can be set to relative urls ... and thus make future domain / forum relocation quite bullet proof ?

Some kind of DB script ? I guess it might be possible to do a search and replace on all posts ? (while the replace should be handled with care, and only guru3 references inside of [ url] tags should be fixed.

I've updated the list "All the cycle model and skins", but some images aren't showing for me. Can someone look into this?

I've also sent the password for the user "modlist" to a few people. If you'd like to join this very secluded group, just make yourself heard.

I've left the list "All the mod/moviepacks" for someone else, otherwise next year I'll still be the only one doing this

Since I"ve apparently been drafted to help, I updated the other one, the one philippe didn't update. The images that aren't showing are the ones that lead to a download here, I presume then that phpBB is filtering those out.

Instead of using the modlist account can't a user group be used ?
Atleast phpbb 2.0.18 is able to make user controlled lists... modlist would just be a closed group which you can join via usergroups.
(Solves the Password problem until all users left that group

Heh, good point walking tree. The moviepack list was started before there was a wiki.

Is there any reason we shouldn't move it to the wiki? I'll go ahead and make a page there for it, but if there's a good enough reason not to have it there, I can remove it. At least on the wiki, anyone can add to it and philippe won't feel like it's his baby and his husband left him to take care of it all by himself.

todos: download all the images from here, upload them to the wiki. Also, add the rest, I only added the first post of the moviepack list. Also, get it formatted nicely. It's a wiki, there's more formatting available than in a post here.

I've replaced the a's in the password of the modlist account with o's.

Just PM me or search the forums for the old one if you want to add something to that list.
