You guys have no imagination. I used to keep it in a cup, had I ever even thought someone would find it sick, I'd have taken a picture of it.

Because I didn't have anything else to keep it in? You use it for things like making gravy, sauteeing onions, that sort of thing. Toss some in the pan when you refry beans and it makes the beans taste really good.
The only problem is that bacon is expensive.

Is your gravy going to be thick?
Here, to make country gravy, you put some bacon grease in a pan, then throw some flour or corn starch in it. Pour some milk, put some pepper, and it's done.
The problem with using butter is that the butter has very little flavor.
The bacon grease has lots of flavor.

Because they knew it would disgust somebody? LIke I said, if I'd've thought it would have that effect, I'd have done it too.
It's just two pictures, load them into two layers in the GIMP, then save it as an animated gif. Not like it's any real trouble or anything.
Edit: and suateeing with bacon grease is preferred over sauteeing with butter, generally. Spanish rice: sautee some minced garlic and onion, add a can of diced tomatoes, some broth, and your rice. Spice it up with some salt, pepper, and cilantro. When it's done, it's good. The bacon grease makes a huge difference. Taco meat: brown the hamburger, stick in collander and drain. Put some bacon grease in the pan, sautee your onions. Add diced green chiles, cook for another minute or so. Throw in the hamburger and a can of diced tomatoes (or a diced fresh tomato), cook until no liquid remains.

man
that's like twenty minutes of work
On MY computer it'd be more like thirty or forty
PLUS the time to eat the bacon
AND the brainstorming time
AND the time to think of places to post it and go around posting it there
basically, you just spent an hour taking pictures of bacon fat all to disgust some people for a couple secs?
psychopaths
