Most worthless toy ever

Post by Lucifer »

Now I've seen it all, I think, and can lay down for good.

My daughter has a barbie that has an attached long purple dress, right? This barbie has a pull-chord sticking out her back. I picked it up, wondering what kind of noise this barbie makes, right? When I pulled the chord, the barbie's dress retracted into her torso until she was wearing a skirt.

I hereby decree that this barbie is the Most Worthless Toy Ever, unless someone can come up with convincing evidence to support another toy for this title.

I don't know, what's a bobble head? Also, pointless != worthless. Pointless can have worth and worthless can have a point.

Ahhh, the rubix cube. I love that toy. It's hours of entertainment. Outranks pretty much all puzzle toys.

(I'm curious why you find it worthless)

Awww, come on. Even the idiot pothead in Dude, Where's my Car? could solve a rubix cube. I'm sure Sab could handle it.

Right, Sab?

Hmmm....doesn't Sab live in Amsterdam?

Heh, when I was younger I just changed all the stickers on my dad's rubix cube. Then he got pissed when they fell off and made me come up with a way for them to stay on. I wound up giving him another one for Christmas.

I learned how to take *that* one apart and put it back together, and I went again and showed it to him. He looked it over to make sure I didn't change the stickers, then went and bragged to all his friends that I could solve it.

So when he had some friends over, one of them grabbed the cube, mixed it up, and handed it to me and said "I'll time you". I said "You go first." So he knocked it out, solving it regularly in about 10 minutes. Then he gave it back to me after mixing it up.

So with everybody watching, I cracked that ****** open and put it back together in about 1 minute. So the guy congratulated me for solving it so quickly.

My dad worked with engineers. ;)

You mean dolls? :)

The best toy I had was just a box full of uniform wooden blocks.

I did the same as Lucifer with the rubik's cube at first, but later I learned the algorithm to solve it.

Umm, on topic:

I've got a rubiks cube somewhere, I've never solved it, but my sister has, legitametly, not taking it apart or change the stickers.

And wow, that Human Torch thing...

I've solved a cube once, legitimately, when I was 10 or so. But I never played it much or thought much about it, it was partly luck. Oh, and I can take it apart in two seconds. :)
