Microbuscity.com won't show...

Hey,

I recently(About a month ago) had Microbuscity.com server on my bookmarks(I have 2.8 beta 2) and one day I go to the bookmarks click MBC and the server doesn't respond! Can anyone solve my problem or give me the IP for MBC??

Also on my server list it doesn't show up anymore!

Please help.

Find a better server to take its place in your bookmarks.

Maybe it's stopped running? Or you got banned? I can't remember if it's on my list.

Checked, I don't see it in frommaster.srv...

MBC is on the master's internal list and gets transmitted to my clients fine (removed it from frommaster.srv and it reappeared). Recordings work in this case, too; If you know a server should be there on the list but it isn't, please send a recording of it.

Well, what's the IP so I can custom connect?

Do you mean like gameplay footage recording? Only of MBC not showing up?

microbuscity.com, as far as I know. Well, not an IP, but DNS hostnames work in custom connect, too.

I mean the debug recording facility of 0.2.8. In beta 2, there is a start menu entry for it. Disable VSync in the graphics driver if you know how to keep the recording small, then use the "Record" start menu entry to start, select "Internet Game" and let the list build up completely (wait about half a minute to be sure). Then exit and post the bizarre new file that appeared on your desktop here. (Compressed or renamed to an allowed extension.)

Ehm...I don't really know about that...I'll just use Windows Encoder(Movie Maker right here!) to capture the screen. I can also give you screenshots.

That's not much use, I'm afraid. I won't get any usable information from that, except that MBC is really gone for you (which I believe without proof).

Erm...I can't find custom connect in 2.8 beta2. Is that replaced with the bookmarks? Also, does the 'server port' make a difference?

yes. it is.
in principle the port does make a difference. you usually only have to change it if the server runs multiple games or the admin is crazy.

Err Luci and I are having similar problems, but i dunno if its related...ill post in development when ig et around to it...if i dont in a day or two remind me..

I've been REALLY busy lately..with college, my fiance, my grandmother recently died... etc etc. Thats why i havnt posted in a week and a half, tonights time for catching up.
