clans come and go all the time. some stay. I personally find this annoying, especially in non-team games. this is just my personal opinion.

Yeah, and then there are the clan-haters who really need to form their own clan so we can tell who they are.

(I'm not a big fan of clans either, but I'd like to see more support for clans, specifically in the team game. You know, so when the MBC guys come along and start talking trash we can form up and show 'em who's who proper)

i plan on staying cause i never seem to be the who backs down from a fight. in this case from blowing someone up.

Hi grimreaper. Go for it and create your clan. Dont let yourself be stopped by idiots like us.

Might I suggest you a few items that could make your clan stand out a bit more!
- Check out how to make maps. You could use them as a publicity object. While maps that are some sort of a big logo might not be a very popular items in general on servers, a true good map that hints a reference to your group might be quite effective.
- Start to think about cycle model, cycle skin and trail skin for your clan. While there is no current support for it on network games, server defined skin and trail is nearly there and personalized items should come soon after.

Also, along philippe's lines, if you make a clan map, that doesn't mean I won't put it on the Crack Pipe.

I'll put any map that's fun there. I don't know that I'll put signature maps for other servers on it, just because other servers should run their own signature maps, but for a clan, no problem. (Unless the clan is part of a server, like MBC, but even then I'll happily run an MBC map that includes some reference to MBC, if the map isn't a signature map)

Maybe if you rewrote this in a language I could understand.....

Um, otherwise, there's a tutorial that comes with the source that I know of, and I assume Phillippe's updated the one in the forums, hopefully. Then if you check the "Breakfast in hell has changed its name" thread, there's more discussion there that will help you.

There is a thread just for that on the forum. search for "world tutorial" IIRC.

But beware, the version there is a bit updated. So only use it to understand teh mechanism, I'll update the documents there, and you will be able to use the new version for the exact syntax.

Yeah I checked that out...I forgot how stupid I am so I gotta learn how to graph again...

Anywho, I'm not a big fan of clans either. I don't find them terrible (most of them anyways) but the few that popped up on tron over the past three weeks have been rather more of a neussiance what with commandeering servers for "meetings"...At least get your own server if you're going do that guys! Even though they probably don't even go to the boards.
