Anyone know what the dotted notes mean? I'd assume palm mutes but im not 100% sure...

Palm muted. That's a fun song.

I play it for a warmup. I usually get bored right around the 2nd prechorus though. Like all Metallica songs, it really drags.

Still, the intro is always good to play when people ask if you're any good. It's one of the easier Metallica songs (not that there are any hard ones), but it sounds most impressive. I play it in the guitar store and usually turn a few heads every time.
