How about a server called "Ladle Sign-ups " with a simple script. You enter, you login, you type "/signup". It writes your login to a file and someone updates the wiki regularly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Obviously inside the server would have all the information you need too.

Combining those two ideas is interesting. I would like to see part of the discussion go this direction.
As far as the server bot goes, perhaps we can use some of epsy's #pickup code? I haven't had a change to look through it yet. http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~epsy/
EDIT: Looks like the code for the server browser and pickup bot, but neither of those is what I'm looking for. I will continue my search.
We can probably use it in the short term, but I think we need a long term solution. Hopefully I'll have time to work on something next month. We should start asking around and see if Ladle players would like to try the FFA format as a trial.
Are we having a Ladle this Sunday then or what? It's getting a bit late on in the week and nobody even seems to be discussing it.
From what I've seen on the grids, there is quite a few people interested in playing in it, even though there is a Euro 2016 football match on that day (which starts two hours after the Ladle would start).
