This kept happening in the yellow submarine
player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>: message.
What does it mean, and why's it happening?
player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
It means that the server's language files are not up to date with the code. player_rename_rejected_kickvote is, if I'm not mistaken, the code for the text you get when a player tries to rename while a kickvote on him is pending. It usually ends with a newline, but not if it is missing, that's why the next message is directly appended and not on the next line where it belongs.
Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
It usually outputs something like "Player 1 is not allowed to rename to avoid confusion with recent votes".
Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
Hmm very confusing, please try reattatching files in order of ABC not CBA
but ya it means you got polled and the server is telling you that you can't rename yet.

Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
He just CBA to ABC.

LOL!vov wrote:He just CBA to ABC.
I did upload them ABC (makes no difference), but the one you upload last turns out the one that shows first. I just couldn't be bothered to delete them and upload them in the wrong order for them to show up in the right order.
I think you'll find that "B" isn't confusing in the slightest
Someone should fix that,. Your first upload should be the one that shows first.

You mean "\n" is missing from it?Z-Man wrote:It means that the server's language files are not up to date with the code. player_rename_rejected_kickvote is, if I'm not mistaken, the code for the text you get when a player tries to rename while a kickvote on him is pending. That coupled with what Z-Man said would make sense, but the thing is, there were no polls, and nobody was trying to rename.vov wrote:It usually outputs something like "Player 1 is not allowed to rename to avoid confusion with recent votes".
Well, I assume BsEliTe wasn't trying to. I was "Rush===" and I know I wasn't trying to rename.
I actually thought there was some sort of rename poll "/vote rename_player Rush=== <newname>", so I tried renaming someone else that way, but the only polls we're allowed are kick, and suspend.
Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
from what I see, his kickpoll just timed out
Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
I was really tempted to make this joke myself...and look what happens when I don't.vov wrote:He just CBA to ABC.

Re: player_rename_rejected_kickvote<name>
I'd try to rename too if I saw myself enter the server.
