YTMND is short for Your The Man Now Dog. It started as a site with just a gif with sean connery from the movie Finding Forrester and a mp3, or .wav looping "Your The Man Now Dog!" over and over and over again. Its cute for about 3 seconds. But now its a whole site with about 8 billion different kinds of these sites which are YTMND's. Look it up on wikipedia if you'd like

you're*

I just learned about this bit of internet idiocy about a month ago. Most are crap and extremely juvenile, but there are some funny ones. I guess one of the most popular, especially for geeks, is this one: http://picard.ytmnd.com/

Well, I'm glad you finnaly found out after so long what the hell these pages are. I hate to sound like a douche but, "YEAH!? NO WAY! I HAD NO IDEA THATS WHAT THOSE WERE!"
If I need someone to point out the obvious, I'll come to you.
:P

That missing plugin is Quicktime, you should try and install that on your web browser, or open it up in IE, I beileve I established if you read this thread.

Do you know about "The penguin liberation front"? http://plf.zarb.org/

A mandrake/mandriva package repository for those packages you really want!

Install their key (instructions here http://plf.zarb.org/packages.php) and configure the repositories (a 3 step thing here http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/)

I hope this help you getting Quicktime, RealPlayer and other intrusive application on your linux box. ;)

This might help you out (I've never tried it myself but curiosity made me google), supports IE 5, 5.5 & 6 using Wine and various tidbits
