What are you listening to right now?

Rainald Grebe - Ich bin der Präsident (I am the president)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55SmADAueSs
Currently the funniest german satirist who can sing, IMO. Google translation of the lyrics here, though it's full of allusions to the worst speeches and quotes of past German presidents ("Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear ******" or "everyone has to get a jolt"), that their wives have always some function in charity organizations and that they just baptize ferries or declare some new building/project to be open, and while they fly in their helicopter above their country they just thing something as boring as "good crop". It's making fun of the fact that our president has no real power, unless there's an emergency like war. The only important thing he can do is blocking laws before he signs them and appoint people who have already been chosen by other assemblies.
I thought it would still be funny to watch him even for those who don't understand the language. And it's so obvious that he's far better than the hosts of that show...

I like girls who like hard music. Should probably move to Brazil.

You say something like that about nearly everything you post, and it's never true, always the opposite. I've heard more interesting bleeps and bloops from NES cartridges.Slov wrote:mindblowing

Anyway, I wanted to post this yesterday—which, for the oblivious dunces out there, was Earth Day—but was too busy with activities related to said day.
Endpoint - Black Skies
Oh, here's an earlier performance (Slint sighting at 3:42)
Yep, I was there. So was my wife, though we hadn't met at that time. That's true for a great many shows back in the day. That show at the Thunderdome was Endpoint's last show and was packed as hell, like dangerously exceeding fire code capacity.
LYRICS: Mother beaten down in pleasure's name. Her children will fall in the same way. Take, take, take, there is no shame. But is it worth the price we pay? How can we live in a world with black oceans? How can we live in a world of gray skies? Who's gonna pick up the earth once it's fallen? Who's gonna wipe the tears from our eyes? We wear the flesh upon our own. We take take take but won't give back. Our own waste will be our home. The sea is red, the sky is black. Our fellow creatures die so we can feast but go ahead ask yourself who is the beast. Another life, another creature dies. But what is left when our mother's breast goes dry? Tell me what, what is left, when we take it all.

I like women who like real music with real instruments. I don't gotta move nowhere.

I don't get the connection, but that's atrocious. Not a drip of musical talent or creativity. Vapid, like most all electronic music.takburger wrote:So you are talking about girls and bieber ... Hmm listen to this
