Try those damned squid rings. I had some a while back and they taste divine, if indeed rather chewy.
Also, if you cook with them, fry them as you would chicken before adding some black pepper. Then do a cheese sauce by adding milk, soft cheese (philly is good but own brand shit works better here) and strong grated cheese. It's ******* lush with potato skins.
Disclaimer: I'm not Spanish. It's been a while since I went to Spain. I just ******* love food.

When did Barcelona become part of Spain? I thought they wanted the independence, well nvmsubfocus wrote:HI my name is subfocus nice to meet you!

I have never been in Barcelona, but I can tell you one thing you musn't do, visit the Nou Camp (Barcelona's stadium
Well, after not doing it, you can also go to visit the Sagrada Familia and the Rambla neighbourhood (I heard the mixure of cultures there is interesting).
@food, apart from the typical spanish food (spanish omellete, the paella, the jamón (I could say ham, but it's not the same), etc), in Cataluña (region which Barcelona belongs to) there are some famous dishes, such as the butifarra or the "pan con tumaca" (bread with tomato).
Sorry for not giving you a lot of ideas of what can you do in Barcelona, as I said I've never been there, but from my experience with people from other countries, you guys usually have lot of fun there, so I guess you will find what to do yourself

I'm not from Spain, but if I were to go to Barcelona I'd absolutely visit the Roman Catholic church Sagrada Família. It's noted for its architecture by Antoni Gaudí.
I once, on a train ride, listened to someone talking about the impact going there had on him. When I checked who was talking, I found it was a blind man, a commuter like myself, who was just back from a short trip to Barcelona and still full of impressions. He explained to the person he was talking to, that he listened to the room and found it breathtaking. Now what if you even have sight to see! I suggest, if you happen to get there, go inside, and aside from watching everything, close your eyes and listen

Sub, do you have cheap price for your hotel? I mean, I would go to Barcelona if I had some discount on a good hotel

Just a little inguistic side comment. I notice you're from Corsica and so I assume English is not your native language. In English, the idiom "hear me out" means "listen to everything I say until I finish, before you respond." It usually indicates that you're about to make a case for something, an argument, a proposition, an appeal for a favor, something along those lines—usually with the presumption that the party you're speaking to wouldn't be interested or would decline unless they heard your entire argument or story.
