In fact, it is not just disrespectful, it's a little insulting. Part of what makes a good team is the preparation and troubleshooting they do before the event.
To clarify, if you hadn't seen it, I said it was our fault that we weren't prepared. As our TL, I made the mistake of switching between VOIP, and that all I asked was that we had more than just a few seconds warning that you were going to start the match. We had no qualms elsewhere, and
respected the fact you gave us so much time (which turns out, I believe, didn't matter that much in the end). We believed there was a grace period of at least 5 minutes between matches, which, yes, I know we took longer than that.

Even if both team agreed it would be horribly disrespectful to the other teams waiting on match results and all the Europeans who lose valuable sleep when Ladle runs late.
I don't believe anyone thinks that we should wait in those circumstances aside from a grace period, see above. We just wanted more warning and we believed there was a grace period we could use.
I'll repeat, when we say we're not ready, at least if you're going to start the match let us know when it's
not mid-round where it will instantly start. Just say, "hey, we're starting next round, we gave you your time, we have to play; sorry."
BRAWL dead. RIP.
