In the spirit of keeping things interesting, Speed of Light's team (cats on mars) would gladly switch with either West Dunlap Backgammon Club or gazelle sux. It is rather uninteresting having two of the top competing teams in this tourney play in the opening round, so hopefully this suggestion will be met with a positive response.

No, but if you know of a means of reaching three people who don't want their identities known, please let me know.

If it's an issue I'll just completely redo the randomizing. I happen to agree that it's somewhat unfair to have to play against your clanmates in the opening round, especially considering this will be the second time in a row. If there are any objections from the Rat Pack, they are welcome to come forward and state them here.

don't really agree with the switching of teams. Sometimes we get stuck with tough drawings, but that's all part of the game. If we want to start switching out teams then we might as well start seeding WST. either way not really fair for this one team to switch while other teams have tough brackets as well and aren't getting switches. It's your tournament though, of course, so do what you would like; however, when it boils down to it, really isn't the most just of decisions.

i know you're mad because of ladle but wst is for FUN, being put 2 wst's in a row against your fellow clan members isn't fun. luckily ritsuka has some sympathy towards that.

If we catered to the needs of everybody who didn't find their brackets fun, randomization would lose its purpose. I realize you're unhappy with your brackets, and I truly understand and am sorry; unfortunately, we can't always get our way when we're unhappy.


Again, its your tourny rits but if you're going to switch their brackets around, then every team should be able to ask for the same thing, which, again, would defeat the whole purpose of randomizing.

and rits can do the same for them if the reason is valid, stop being so dramatic and calm down until the issues you speak of arise, which they won't

If Rits keeps the bracket change then the problem has already arisen, as this is setting a precedent for future teams who request a bracket change merely because they're unsatisfied with the way the randomizer worked. I definitely understand why you're unhappy with the bracket, and I really do feel bad, but when it boils down to it it isn't right just to switch the brackets around because a team got unlucky with the randomizer. A similar incident occurred this past SBT, in which many of the stronger sumoers (Appleseed b3n Axon Concord Gazelle Poke etc) were all placed on the same side of the bracket, and many of them in the same opening round. Did Cody change the brackets up? No, and this made the tournament even more interesting and competitive. So again, I understand how you're feeling and I'd probably be disappointed too if I had such a bracket turnout; however, what's fair should take precedence over what we want.
