I suppose I'll take my own advice here.

I have voted for TST, simply because there is a huge demand for the gametype and an enormous void in the community where it used to reside. The argument "TST is special, it should be less frequent" is completely irrelevant to me: it's 'special' because it's fun, no amount of consistency of its presence will change that (not for the worst anyway).

What is missing is not the tournament, but a solid Team Sumo server to play in. Before Sumobar became the standard there was Open Sumo. For those who don't remember, it was Team Sumo with team management so you could play single or doubles.

And let us not forget 4 Team WS. That is crazy fun.

i voted for wst, i think it has more tactics to it than tst, and altho tst can have upsets wst is much more on team play than just skilled sumoers

Classic sumo is still my favorite to this day, but nobody played it anymore since sumo bar came along. Thanks a lot emphasis!



There should be a sumo tournament each month, switching out between TST, WST & SBT.

Yeah, TST wins. But since it was a vote which should show what the community wants and since it's that close, you may consider having a WST (nearly) as often as a TST.
