i thought i would be cool to make a server with something totally new. new settings, new rules, ex. a whole new game mode. does anyone have any ideas for something? is there anything you have always wanted? any ideas would be greet. :pacman: :sdot: :sdot: :idea:

How about we make a server with 3 lanes where we have 5 people on each team. There are certain deathzones that can be destroyed in each lane and the team has to reach the winzone in the base of the other team. To make it interesting we can give each of the players separate abilities and allow them to level up while playing! Im even considering adding automatically spawning ai that will attack each other in each lane to give experience when they die. Anyway, seems like a truly original and awesome idea, what do you think?

i think that's a very interesting idea, do you have any settings, or codes to start it off? where and when do you play so maybe i can talk to you?

or. u could have something like that has a mixture of everything. like say.... something like the game quidditch ( spelled wrong ik) from harry potter. u have fort in the middle teams start the exact same way except there are 8 players on a team and not 6. u get a certain amount of points for capping the ctf flag. and then u get like a bigger amount for playing fort normal. and its sorta like catching the golden snitch. and u have a respawn point on the other side othe the fort zone opposite end of the ctf stuff.

basically ctf with fort settings. say u get 10 pts for capping flag. 2 pts per kill. and 1 pt for respawning player. ( for every player) and for winning the main fort zone u get like 40 pts. players can be respawned like 5 seconds after they die. ( if thats possible)

Random idea... maybe put a maze on one side. small turns. tight corners. maybe 6 or 7 maybe 10 maps? u get put out there whoever gets to the end first before main zone is capped get ur team like 20 or 25 pts. Maybe havea small dz follow u around so u have to keep ur speed up and cant mess up to much.

the idea is to integrate many players from across tron to try new things. its a big objective game that takes alot of planning, where u want people, who would do well where? and it mkaes a team think of better strategys and allows teams to make comebacks based on strategies. for instance if lets say a specifac clan makes sure to go after the main base. sacrificing a few players on the way. lets say 4. thats 8 pts given. in the time they get 5 kills plus the zone. ( 50 pts) the other team caps the flag 3 times and gets to end of zone. they have somewhere around the same amount. possibly 70. ( but based on my randomized numbers for now it would actually be 75 or 80)

there is a benefit to doing this. there are many people who play fort and ctf. doing this would hopefully integrate players to try new things.

now this whole thing doesn't have to be exactly like this. but it would still be fun to possibly try. and im open to suggestions to improve it or additions rules ect. if anyone would be interested in this i would love to know.

New game mode: Enter the arena

I'm not so sure about how to make it happen, but here is the idea:

- sumo is really fun
- in tst sometimes your mate who is inside die and you have to enter a maze because you was outside and it is really funny

aim: recreate this funny situation

how: get some players to sumo and throw some others in the pool

Maybe something like df sumo, a sumo with no zone shrink and perma spawning of dead people, with like 10s interval so it is not too often.

Issue: if you stay alive and get a big zone you get super rewarded because you never die and get so much pts but you'll get holed many times I guess

Believe it or not, this action is already part of a game mode called "Flag Fortress." It is a hybrid of Fort and CTF. You have flag in the center of a Fortress zone, both need protecting. As long as someone is inside your base you will be respawned. It can get very, very crazy during heavy zone battles.

capture the flag

but the base is a moving king of the hill zone, so you can only score the flag if you control the base. your own flag need not be home to score.

physics are whatever you think works best.

(I've got dozens of game modes if server admins need ideas)

Improvised Styball, where you can hold the ball, and shoot it (as you would on shooting modes) you can lose possession, but your tackler can only steal the flag if they stay in it for half or a full second or something.
