This is a lie. I have never received anything remotely resembling a confession or apology from you. All I've ever received from you is harassment and deceit.
Tazmania wrote:Could you please tell me what I haven't owned up to?
Why should I? A) You're essentially trying to goad me into boasting on your behalf, a classic bullying tactic, after which you'd likely deny it all—in public, anyway, despite there being a long record of most of your activities right here on this forum.
You know what things you've done—not only on this forum but away from it (one notorious example from two and a half years ago still being up). You own up to what you have done.

Credible. And the subsequent nonsense in your buddy's defense being just that: nonsense.

Phyto, I certainly can appreciate and understand your hurt in regards to Taz's past actions and past quarrels. However, you are assuming much in assuming that Taz has not grown or changed at all in the last three years. Many of us have had issues in the past with Taz, including a person who had become a practical nemesis to him and viewed him as such, Arilou. Over a year ago at this point, Taz and Arilou moved on. This doesn't mean that Arilou or others necessarily fully trust Taz, trust is restored over time. But, Taz has actively tried to make amends, with no agenda.
I think that Taz's new attitude was best reflected in the attempted reboot of VcL. Taz started a specific subforum on the VcL forums for selected clan leaders to gather and discuss inter-clan problems. It really helped with a few small issues that may have grown worse. I am by no means trying to represent Taz as some perfect angel, he isn't. Then again, neither are any of us, myself included.
I am simply asking that you try extending the olive branch here. I can't prove to you that he is fully reformed. However, I think it would in your best interests, as well as the best interests of all of us that you two come to some peaceable understanding. In some ways, your posts right now, in regards to Taz seem to be coming from a place of hurt and self-defense. And in that way, with the history you have referred to, you have a lot of reason to feel that way.
Taz:
Perhaps one way you could help clear the way for all of this would be to send Phyto a simple PM apologizing for past indiscretions. It seems to be what he is looking for. I don't doubt the sincerity of your desire to clear the air in all this. As such, I am certain you will see the wisdom in this simple thing.

Really its nonsense? Twas simply a joke phyto, i was messing around with my buddy.
But now that you brought me into it, you are ragging taz for being a bully etc.. Which i dont agree with, knowning him personally.
You on the other hand, all i know about you is what i see you post on this forums, and half the time you are attached to Word and his opinions, or you dont give a shit about what anyone else has to say.
So the victim should initiate reconciliation, concede and submit to the abuser? No.
"Extending an olive branch" must be initiated by the wrongdoer, not the wronged. And it must come with an admission of that wrongdoing, an expression of regret, and actual actions taken intended to rectify and make amends for those wrongs.
Also, I've never felt "hurt" by Taz (or his cronies). It's more like irritation and contempt—for a malicious and dishonest person.

The multiple writers thing sounds like it rings true, but every obnoxious person i can think of, has already been slandered on that site. Could be an act to cover their tail - could also not be an act to cover their tail. It's probably people none of us expect.

You're not credible. Not interested.
First off, thanks compguygene for commenting on the thread. Phytotron, I'm actually a tad bit frustrated that you're sitting here saying I haven't tried to reconcile with you. Every single pm I have sent to you was always respectful and sent to resolve an issue or concern that I had. For you to sit here and say that I'm lying baffles me. If you decide that you want to post our pms, which I have no problem with you doing, make sure to provide the full context.
I've always considered you an intelligent person, but never appreciated the way you look down on others. I felt like you always had this sense of superiority, while lacking common courtesy and respect for others. Most of your comments are subtly laced with insults meant to hurt and initiate anger with the recipient. I also feel like you have been hurt by my comments in the past, hence your inability to "move on". You're the only one that I know that still has this much dislike for me. Ultimately, I feel like you still have your own issues you need to work out. I still think you're an awesome person, though.

That's the impasse. So long as you refuse to acknowledge and take responsibility for your own behavior and actions, so long as you keep playing this game of yours, putting up this phony persona and trying to turn things back on me, there will be no resolution and my contempt for you will not diminish.
