Gonna have to agree with Gonzap here. If you want this over with, antagonizing him further will do just the opposite.PyrrhicVictory wrote:That's actually a good question. At first, I just wanted to accept his apology and add a little comment, but eventually it turned into an insult.
I think I just felt the need to say those things. Or you could say I needed to pop the pimple so it'll be able to recover (sorry, no better metapher came to my mind)
I will accept his apology so this flamewar ends. I'm not looking for fight in tron, getting this over with is my priority.

No its fine wolf and zap, i want to hear what everyone has to say, i understand my wrongdoings and im owning up for my actions, I just want to clear the air with everyone.. Cause i do hate the things i've done to bother some of you. This is the last im going to say about any of this, i dont want to start any drama, believe me or dont.
But just know this, if i didnt mean what i posted on this topic, then i wouldnt of wasted the time to post it in the first place, i truly am sorry.

You still don't seem to get what I mean. Let's put it differently.woof wrote:Gonna have to agree with Gonzap here. Imagine you're in my position. I still had some negative feelings about Gaz leaving. He never apologized or talked to me in private. I thought he just didn't care, so I forgot about it. Suddenly, he posts this great apology on the forums, even though he could have just talked to the people in private. I didn't want to share my thoughts about him with anyone, but he brought the public aspect into this.
Back to my question: What would you do? Tell him what pisses you off and be a bitch about it for years? Apologize and silently hate him? Make it a lot bigger than it is? Any better option, please do tell me so I know it the next time I have to face a similar situation.
Gaz, I sincerely accept your apology, and I do wish you the best in future.

Re: This is my apology.
You shouldn't have to explain yourself to people, pypy. We know what happened and why we're allowed to be pissed off for a while, yet still accept that he's trying to better himself. I personally still think he's a dimwit for what he did, but I wish him the best of luck with his journey to buddha.
Re: This is my apology.
**** this nonsense, why apologize because who you are changed? Your friends can adjust to you or move on to other friends, nature of life.
Re: This is my apology.

Re: This is my apology.
As far as I know, that's not swiss
Re: This is my apology.
I don't think /dev/null is swiss either. Swiss did apply to ct with his name though.
Re: This is my apology.
yeah, the /dev/null thing is pretty common if you happen to know a bit about computer history:

History? I still have a /dev/null! I secure my most important documents in it.
