If the Ladle were on July 1st...
Only vote Yes if you will actually miss the ladle on July 1st.
This poll is for informational purposes only. It won't be deciding anything (by itself).

Has nothing to do with the Euro final cup. I can't play due to a program at a University + 4th of July celebration. I won't be home.

I hope you did not vote "No" therefore, because your reasons have nothing to do with the Euro final cup.Ratchet wrote:Has nothing to do with the Euro final cup. I can't play due to a program at a University + 4th of July celebration. I won't be home.

Oh, I thought Independence day was the fourth July, not the first.

I know that, I was wondering why Clutch and his friends shoot off fireworks on the first.

IMO, the poll question should be changed, because it does not account for people who can attend on July 1st but are understanding and still wish to change the date for their friends who cannot. Asking 'If the Ladle were on July 1st, the same day as the Euro Cup Final, would you skip the ladle?' only accounts for those who are missing ladle. I believe the question should be rephrased to something like 'Do you support moving Ladle to July 8th, because it is on the same day as the Euro Cup Final?' This way, even if people aren't planning on watching the Euro Cup Final, they can still support moving the Ladle for their peers.

No, this is about making an informed decision whether it is useful to move or not, not about the popularity of moving it or not.

Precisely. This is just a poll preceding an actual vote to keep or change the date.epsy wrote:No, this is about making an informed decision whether it is useful to move or not, not about the popularity of moving it or not.

Independence day is on July 4th. However, some people like to celebrate a summertime holiday away from home, such as a camping trip at the Lake. I don't think that's unreasonable

I didn't notice the poll said it had to be related? Seems to me like it was just a side note explaining that it was coincidentally the same day as the Euro Cup Final.Poke Master wrote:If the Ladle were on July 1st, the same day as the Euro Cup Final, would you skip the ladle?

All these polls are stupid. The ladle is on always on the first sunday of the month and having all these invalid polls isn't proving anything.
