My favorite teams are all around the map, but I can explain pretty much every one.

Hockey (NHL): Detroit Red Wings. When I was 3 or 4, a friend of my dad's sent us Detroit Red Wing championship tshirts and I've been a fan of them since. The only true influence I had early on towards a team in the NHL.

Basketball (NBA): Utah Jazz. I was never really into basketball but the early times that I was into it was the times of Stockton, Malone and Hornacek. Haven't changed loyalties since, even though they currently rebuilding... I miss Sloan...

Baseball (MLB): Arizona Diamondbacks. Much like basketball, I was never really into it so I chose relatively early. I ended up choosing this team because of backyard baseball though. I had a team with Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling when they were both playing for the Diamondbacks and during that miraculous championship year (a year after expansion, if I recall) I was cheering for them the entire time. Stuck with me ever since.

American Football (NFL): Philadelphia Eagles. I have always been a huge fan of american football, but I never really had any loyalties in the sport until I was 9 or 10. I just loved the game, enjoyed playing and watching so that's what I looked for, but when I started getting out of playing the sport I felt I had to start choosing a team and there were two players I really loved that played for the Eagles in Westbrook and Dawkins. Decided then that I'd be a fan of them shortly before the beginning of their Super Bowl losing season and haven't changed loyalties yet, and never plan on it.

Soccer (football, w/e): I don't really care personally, so... Yeah... Go Leicester? I guess?
BRAWL dead. RIP.

Never. Won. Anything.

Not when he played with Stockon.

Not when he played with Kobe and Shaq.

No great player turns the ball over like this at the end of games.

One of the most overrated players in league history.

Also, not a good person.
Malone reportedly impregnated Bell's mother when she was 13 and he was a sophomore at Louisiana Tech. Malone is lucky Chris Hansen wasn't around and he didn't have to answer to the authorities.

It would be one thing if Malone was unable to financially provide for his son, but he made more than $100 million during his NBA career. The Salt Lake (Utah) Tribune reported that when Bell's grandparents initially took Malone to court for paternity in 1986, his second year with the Jazz, they requested Malone pay $200 a week. Malone didn't respond to the suit, but a Louisiana judge ruled he was Bell's father -- after a paternity test showed that was indeed accurate -- and ordered Malone to pay $125 a week, plus past and future medical expenses. Malone claimed that was too much and later reached a confidential out-of-court settlement with Bell's family between 1988 and 1989.

Wikipedia on Malone wrote:Having scored 36,298 points in his career, the second most career points in NBA history, and holding the record for most free throws both attempted and made, Malone is generally considered one of the greatest NBA power forwards.[1] In 1997 and 1999, Malone won the NBA Most Valuable Player award. Malone appeared in the playoffs every season in his career, including three NBA Finals: in 1997 and 1998 with the Jazz and in 2004 with the Lakers. Internationally, Malone competed with the United States national team in the Summer Olympic games of 1992 and 1996; in both years he won gold medals. After retiring from the NBA, Malone joined the staff of the Louisiana Tech basketball team in 2007 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010
That's hardly not winning anything :p

goes to the playoffs every year of his career. never wins a title. he ain't a winner, plain and simple.

his career playoff stats are worse than his regular season stats. His playoff shooting percentage is 5% worse. He scores fewer ppg despite playing four more minutes.

And he couldn't win.

The only sport I ever knew anything about was basketball, because you can't live next to Duke and UNC and not know. Of course, since I've moved I now know nothing about it any more.

All in all I'm not a sport person.

Alrighty, here's my favorite teams:

Basketball- LA Clippers. I hadn't really been in to basketball until this year. Sure, I watched it occasionally, but I never had loyalties. Once I started watching Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in LOB CITY, I knew which team I wanted to stay with. No, i'm not a bandwagon, because i've never preferred any certain team before :P

American Football- TENNESSEE TITANS!! I've been a Titan fan since I was...7? Players like Steve McNair, Eddie George, Jevon Kearse, Derrick Mason, etc. were amazingly fun to watch when I was a kid. I've also been a huge fan of Jeff Fisher (head coach), so I was really sad to see him go last year :/. Hopefuly Jake Locker will be able to step up and fill the shoes that he's expected to, but we'll see. I could rant on the Titans all day, but this will suffice for now haha.
