Yeah, I heard the bye had a good squad formed. Lag, slide, hax, jump, troll and noob. I heard you were supposed to play for them? You're noob right? They look competitive otherwise.

Anyway, playful joking aside. Biased predictions are okay to a degree, but to call CTB in the finals is just a little bit insane imho. Very noncompetitive team, check last ladle when they lost to, um, yeah, R right? :]

I was confused on the difference between a game and a match.

I have always preferred power rankings as most insightful prediction, as it describes a team's strength relative to all other teams, and not only to it's direct competitor.

Since Concord has been either too lazy or busy in writing objective power rankings, this is my poor attempt in writing concise and unbiased predictions, summarizing the whole with some keywords.

#1. Revolver
Last ladle many predicted revolver to lose due to lack of cohesiveness. Frankly, most revolver members believed their strength lies in teamwork and versatility. Their line-up as remained similar, only they grew even more eager to win the ladle. With the rock-solid defense of dlh, Xyron's ballerina-style-of-play and Concord's one-liners, this team got some exeptional attributes. Hopefully they can keep their synergy growing and win another ladle title.
S: motivated, high team synergy, past experience
W: overconfident, inactivity, Xyron's crappy internet

#2. _~R~_
They proved to be a very competitive team during last ladle, resulting in an utterly interesting semi-final. Their line-up changed a lot since titan and olive left, but they grew only stronger since then. The newcomers forcefully closed the gaps in their roster, and are very eager to win a ladle title. Perhaps their roster does not strike fear into other tronner's hearts, but their motivation, teamplay and above all their joyful approach towards ladles is something to be aware of.
S: motivated, high team synergy, play with a smile
W: not serious enough, lack experience, fluctuating performance

#3. TX
Their last ladle's line-up was a surprise to many. Liz and eckz have proved to be solid potential match-winners, appleseed and vein carry a bright future as new recruits and everyone knows what the other players are capable of. However, this time they pulled the joker: 'Titanoboa'. He might be exactly the missing link in TX's team and hopefully he can put TX back on the map as fortress powerhouse. Nonetheless, the lack of chemistry and companionship might disturb their synergy and lead to a disastrous ladle.

W: lack of chemistry, deso's connection, DDMJ

#4. uNk
Somehow uNk continues to surprise me. They innovated and dominated the game with swift tactics, putting emphasis on speed and offense. However, somewhere along the road their continous improvement gradually lowered in pace, allowing other teams to catch up. Hopefully they manage to maintain an attractive offensive strategy, while exploring routs to innovate fortress and win a ladle. They got the skill, no doubt. The previous year has indicated that any given team can win the ladle. It's simply a matter of attitude and on-the-spot performance, and if uNk keeps evolving, experimenting and growing, another ladle win is inevitable.
S: aggressive, speedy, exciting matches
W: lack of imagination, solidity, rigidity

#5. PL
A random bunch of sumo players, who are rather new to the game, captained by veterans vov and pre. This concept is potentially successful (as proved in the past), if they manage to play their own game, and refrain from getting dictated by their direct opponent. If they keep momentum, keeping a conservative approach by relying on their sumo capabilities, they might eventually evolve into a top-notch team.
S: upcoming, refreshing, sumo skill
W: adaption over dictation, solidity, rigidity

#5. CTa
Never forget CTa. Always after a couple of ladles of absence, when they seem to be forgotten, they win. It would be a waste of words to describe their individual capabilities. They are the longest exisiting ladle team, always near the top. And they will snoop off an occasional ladle win, when nobody takes them into account.

#6. Speeders
Speeders have lost their edge. Some radical change must happen for them in order to compete with the best again. They are not bad, they simply lack imagination.

I woke this morning and realized on of the bets might have been unclear. There's been a lot of action coming in on the over for the high score line, even at 19. I should clarify that this single match high score. If you thought it was total and you want to change your bet, resubmit a betting ticket with just that bet changed (and don’t worry about the current line, I’ll change it based on the line you had when you bet).

I'm posting this here because I'm guessing it's more likely to be seen.
