It is indeed much harder for the worms to win when the scanner is informed of the specific role of the target. Simply because the worm can't fake that (Over explained this but word didn't get it) and voila, a big strategic element of the game is removed.

Now, all we need to do is wait for the scanner to find the worms, then we kill the worms and win.

Firewall: don't let the worms know who you are and protect the scanner every night. We win.

Simply because the worm can't fake that (Over explained this but word didn't get it) and voila, a big strategic element of the game is removed.

I got that, but the fact remains that the firewall and the scanner are only two people, just like the two worm teams (the worms would have a real advantage if they'd be on the same). The worms don't need to know anyone else's role to win, they only have to be good con-artists. The worm doesn't need to claim that he's the scanner (so someone checks him) but he can say he thinks someone could be a worm at any time. It doesn't matter if I scan someone next round if the worms first manage to convince you to kill the firewall and then kill someone else (perhaps even the player I scanned next), or if they do it next round. we don't have time and can't afford unnecessary losses, they can.

I don't think it's beneficial to vote nobody, personally, right now. With AI already a confirmed non-firewall, then why don't we just get him? Word pushed on him and apparently knows who it is. We have a kill we could possibly miss, and the best thing I can suggest is to use it on someone we know isn't the firewall or scanner.

If you want the worms to have no chance to win, you'd simply vote no one, if you want them to have a chance and make it more interesting, you'd take a risk on getting AI.

Either way, we should have plenty enough evidence to terminate SOMEONE.

No I never claimed I do. I just think he didn't know what he was doing.

Usually I wouldn't disagree, but there's a big problem with that now due to the constellation of the votes. Ask me again when it's over, unless you understood it yourself by then.

You state you know the firewall/scanner, yet you voted for AI at first? That's a clear sign of KNOWING he isn't the firewall/scanner. Logic fail.

You can interprete that any way you want but the vote had its purpose and I know the consequences. If you are a worm, you'd like to know my argumentation for that. My vote was completely logical and the result of a dilemma I'm in. Didn't want to make a big fuss but this seemed to decide everything at the time I wrote it.
