post-punk revival" stuff. But where most of those bands go for more of the upbeat party sound, this one seems to take more from the darker likes of Joy Division, Killing Joke, and Bauhaus. I don't really see much point in a band like this existing, except for those who just really like that music and want more songs of the same, which I suppose is sorta legit (there's certainly no shortage of shitty blues/roots-rock bands out there, especially on the bar/club/festival circuits). Nothing new here, though.
