Ok, a warning to everyone. www.guru3.sytes.net is a non-existant domain. Any official reference to the forums will always be just plain guru3.sytes.net. Currently any e-mail from the forums originates from the e-mail guru3@electricpotential.net. If it does not, do not open! Second, there will never be any attachments sent to you by the forums, especially with your name and password. This may sound like common sense but it's true! The only way I'd consider sending a forum member anything is either in pm or a direct download url.

THis one's the SOBER virus, I think. iirc. I was actually duped by this one, heh. On my windows partition. You know, you get to feeling bulletproof after running Linux awhile, then you use Windows and forget you're no longer invulnerable, and then poof.
ANyway, yeah, this looks like SOBER. If you do get stuck with it, you can google up a tool that'll get rid of it.
Symantec's got one and a couple of other folks have them.
