Might as well change this to "Untitled BRAWL" because if at least one untitled member cant make it , then it shouldn't be hosted on Sundays.

Anyways I actually stopped going to CTF tournaments, my Saturday mornings are better off sleeping now.

I would actually have a little team organized if this was hosted on Sundays.
It was very offensive
How was my post offensive?

So far the only reason I see that you guys don't wanna have it on sundays is because so far two of your members cannot make it ?

The number of people/teams that cannot make this tournament on Saturdays outweighs the number of people/teams that cannot make this tournament on Sundays.

Therefore, putting this tournament on a Sunday will bring more people/teams to the sign up section of the wiki page!

If this is when tru wants to have it. Let him have it on Saturday. Afterall he is doing all the work to maintain and run this tournament, he should be able to have the luxury to enjoy it when he can play. Besides usually 3 of the Sundays each month are already taken by other competitions.

And again offensive, you think that we decide about this everything. Can you even prove what you just said? We never said we do not want to have it on Sundays because some of us can not make it. That's offense in the face...

:o I just maintain and run but do not decide when to keep it. And good that you reminded, kyle: Satuday was chosen a year ago because all Sundays were taken. If everybody wants to have it on Sunday and Sundays are free so voting can be set ( imo it will be confusing for some people maybe, try to think about changing Ladle's day of week and you'll see why )

Not every Sunday is taken, and I'm sure people are clever enough to realize there's been a date change if it's announced in a clear way. I'll make a poll after the next brawl.

Let me stop you there. We tried to have an "Untitled Tournament" a long long time ago. If you would like to see, I can gladly lead you to the topic on our forums. Needless to say it did not work. Since then we have tried to re-work the tournament onto the main arma forums so the community can run them. Why? Because this way people can have a say. It used to be Ww only running the tournaments. Was that better? I don't know I wasn't around long enough to know. What I do know is that ctf competition died when Ww gave up hosting their tournaments. Instead of just discussing this within small group and pointing fingers why not open up a poll like previous brawls and vote on settings.

This comment is pretty meaningless. There are some that stay up till 3-4am just to play in this tournament. What is Saturday for you is Sunday for others. Unless you wish to revise what you said, your statement as standing is pretty doltish and irrelevant.

Couldn't agree more with Wind here. Although most of the efforts behind the Brawl has been made by U members, it has always been a publicly run tournament. U hardly deserves being called greedy when a) they are not being so and b) they have done so much for this tournament in the first place. And anyway, U isn't the only clan/team that would be at a loss if these tournaments were moved to Sundays. R has an aussie as well, and Tobe can't play on Sunday tournaments because he has church. Ww would also be at a loss since Hyp3 is Australian.

Anyway, I don't think that we should keep the tournament on Saturdays just for the benefit of one or even three clans. It should just come down to a vote.

Every single tournament is hosted on a sunday, which means all those who attend church and all those from countries other then europe and usa cant attend. This rules out sumo and fort, which I for one would love to play and would wake up at 4 am on a sunday just to play it, but i cant, ctf is the only tournament aussies can play, sure there arent many of us, but i think its a little big greedy if some of you arent playing on the saturday because you want to sleep in.. We cant play it on the sunday because we have work and work comes before a PC game. (jks tron is life) Anyway, i think its only fair that the times for the date for the tournament should suit everyone who wants to play, not those that want a sleep in =p

True, and that's what this discussion is about. Maybe a vote is the best option, after all, that's how Saturdays were decided in the first place. But after 11 Brawls, I doubt the day will change. And truthfully, I don't know if I would vote for Sundays either, even though it would be better for my team. Brawl seems to be doing just fine when it comes to consistency and growth. Plus, the Aussies do add to the game, and I welcome the competition.

I can never make these tournaments because they're on Saturdays. I don't know about you guys but I always thought saturdays were more of a busy day than a "stay home and play video games day" (that day was named sunday :P). Saturdays are usually prime days for work, sports, shopping, etc.

I have a suggestion, why cant the tourney be at 6 PM EST? That makes it 11 AM for aussies and 11 PM for euros on GMT.

That way, people who work, have games/practices or have something during the day have a chance to get home and participate. Also, it should end by around 8-9 EST which still allows for North Americans who have plans that night to go out.

Just an idea let me know what you guys think.

But means that it goes through the night for euros. Really, there's no good time that will accommodate every time zone.

rofl wtf? I don't see hyp3 being much of a big loss since he hasn't played in the first 11 brawls..

anyways, can we just take a vote so everyone can stop whining about when they can/can't play..?
