Single Binder Player List
Re: Single Binder Player List
*still single binder*
Re: Single Binder Player List
I can only speak for myself, but apart from that one time I used macros to turn fastly in CTF I have always single binded, without exception. So, if it is the case that somebody partly double binds and partly single binds I'd say that you can't fully call him a single binder.
Re: Single Binder Player List
Oh, by the way, this is an updated list:
Cody:
dreadlord:
Olive: (?)
FoFo: (?)
MaZuffeR
17na
madmax
Van-hayes
Concord
Phytotron
Akira
sunny
help im a bug
boobert
I assume, although he has never posted here, that Lackadaisical is also a single binder.
Cody:
Code: Select all
I have 1 right , 1 left(DUH) and I use 1 hand(Left hand) and use my right hand for glancing arrow keys <-left v-behind >-right
Code: Select all
left hand for going left and right with the arrow keys and right hand for brake, also with an arrow key
Code: Select all
A - left L - right 123 - glances space - brake v - toggle
Code: Select all
right hand for directions and brake , left hand for glances
Code: Select all
right hand for directions and brake , left hand for glances
Code: Select all
I use my left hand for wasd keys and my right hand for the arrow keys I use for glancing pretty standard realy
Code: Select all
Pffff, the way to go is left hand for directions, right hand for brake and glances.
Code: Select all
No way, the arrows are just common sense for movement. They are directional arrows! My set up is pretty much the same as syllabear's except I use "w""e""r" for glances, left forward and right respectively.
Code: Select all
right hand for directions and brake , left hand for glances
Code: Select all
Arrows!
Code: Select all
Arrows!
Code: Select all
right hand for directions and brake , left hand for glances
Code: Select all
x = right, z = left, arrow keys for glances, up arrow for brake
Code: Select all
I use left and right arrow keys for left and right, down arrow for glance back.

Re: Single Binder Player List
Lacka is a single binder, but I think he may have double binds for those times he's in tunnels and needs to turn around quickly, could be wrong though.
And I know some players (like titan) have their left turn keys for their left hand and right turn keys on their right (asd left and kl; right i believe). Interesting that there don't seem to be any single binders with a similar setup.

Re: Single Binder Player List

Signature? wtf...
Re: Single Binder Player List
If you count using left hand for turning left and right and right hand for braking as playing with two hands then I do the same.

SingleBinder: A person who has only 2 Binds set. 1 for turning Left , 1 for turning Right. You can either use 1 hand or 2 hands.
I don't think it matters how many hands you use, as long its only using 1 key to turn left and 1 other key to turn right.
Yea people who single bind & doublebind shouldn't really be counted as a sole single binder :s
Re: Single Binder Player List
Yeah it's pretty strange to see that like all singlebinders do directions with one hand and glance with the other. Isn't it easier to have your left hand for left and your right hand for right? Seems more 'natural' to me.
Re: Single Binder Player List
Hehe yes, I always have to perform contortions while playing, however I can not imagine to play in another way.
Re: Single Binder Player List
Isn't that how most people play? I single bind probably 90% of the time, but when it gets tight I can't physically single bind fast enough, but I wouldn't call it single bindingPokeMaster wrote:Lacka is a single binder, but I think he may have double binds for those times he's in tunnels and needs to turn around quickly, could be wrong though.

Ya, I am a double binder and I have the 2 left turn keys set with my left hand and the 2 right turns keys set with my right hand. Thumb is brake. Left glance left hand, right glance right hand...wap wrote:Yeah it's pretty strange to see that like all singlebinders do directions with one hand and glance with the other. Symmetry.
Re: Single Binder Player List
(d)fgb left and mkl(;) right, (glances). h and j are back glance buttons (so I can use whichever index finger is free), and n is /drop instant. Seems like my brain works with less effort when it's divided like that. Left for left, right for right. Plus I never have to move my hands when I play, and my wrists haven't hurt even once since I changed my setup in 2009 :PPokeMaster wrote:And I know some players (like titan) have their left turn keys for their left hand and right turn keys on their right (asd left and kl; right i believe). But like potter said, I single bind most the time too, it's easier to make every turn how you want it to be with single binds. Only double(or triple) bind when I want tight doubles or triples.
As for who can call themselves a single binder: A single binder is someone who has one single key bound for each direction. If you "double sometimes", multi-binding is a prerequisite, making you a multi-binder.
Re: Single Binder Player List
I have like
Left arrow and right arrow for left and right, and down arrow for braking actions. And I singlebind with my right hand only, thats why I cant brake that good when i am singlebinding
And zx for left right on my left hand, glances on asd.
(z or y... its different for different countries, in germany it is y... it is only the key on the left side of x)
My hands never hurt. And I play since 2010 with this setup too ;D
