Ladle 49 Predictions

Post by ElmosWorld »

Opening Round

uNa(0) vs. Velocity(2) - Velocity in their return to the ladle will have no trouble with uNa. Sorry uNa.
Pure Luck(0) vs. ~*SP*~(2) - pL is a good team but they don't have the experience to beat SP.
Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats(2) vs. Puddiful Silliness(0) - Tx will be looking ahead to their match with R.

Sweet Sixteen
uNk.Team(2) vs. Velocity(0) - uNk + Xyron will have no trouble with VcL and will be looking ahead to a matchup with CT or SP
Crazy Tronners(2) vs. Speedhax(1) - One of many tough matchups this ladle, depends of who shows up for CT. But I believe CT will edge out Speedhax here
Dark Syndicate(2) vs. Immortal Dynasty(0) - ID can keep adding people but they still haven't proven themselves.
≡¤≡Tronners(0) vs. \\MeetYourMaker(2) - even if they find a 6th person to play, they have no chance.
Team.uNk(2) vs. ~*SP*~(1) - Undecided about this one. Winner of this one gets to the finals though.
.dP°(0) vs. Deja Vu(2) - still not sure who most of these dP people are
PRU(2) vs. Open Team(0) - PRU may lose focus a little bit as they look ahead to their match with Tx/R but they still can beat Open Team
Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats(2) vs. _~Rogue Tronners~_(0) - With no Lacka, Tx should be able to win this one

Elite Eight
uNk.Team(2) vs. Crazy Tronners(1) - another tough matchup also depending on who plays for CT
Dark Syndicate(0) vs. \\MeetYourMaker(2) - mYm will just me coasting as they have the easiest path to the semis
Team.uNk(2) vs. Deja Vu(0) - uNk/SP get a breather after their match and have no trouble with DV
PRU(0) vs. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats(2) - TX regains a seed and is hopeful for another ladle win.

Final Four
uNk.Team(2) vs. \\MeetYourMaker(1) - mYm meets their first tough opponent this ladle and is unsure of what to do.
Team.uNk(2) vs. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats(1) - uNk/SP will be able to beat TX

Championship
uNk.Team(2) vs. Team.uNk(1) - uNk wins it third ladle in a row.

LOL! You consider us a breather? I hope SP/uNk makes that same mistake.

She's in uNk ^^ But yeah, Dv won't be a "breather", but still, should be less arduous than uNk/SP.

"mYm meets their first tough opponent this ladle and is unsure of what to do"

We're not a dogfight clan, we know what to do. Stupid, senseless comments + the bias make these predictions really boring.

My predictions: pRu and ID will lose.

gl&hf in the ladle everyone.

Opening Round
uNa v. Velocity (2-0) VcL lost to uNa even with my help. uNa easily takes the win.

Pure Luck v. ~*SP*~ (0-2) Pure Luck will need more luck than they can handle. Easy win for da SP noobs!

Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats v. Puddiful Silliness (2-0) Unfortunate draw for silly. TX is just too good. TX blows them out.

Sweet Sixteen

uNk.Team v. uNa (2-0) Another unbalanced match-up for the ladle. With the help of mazuffer's long global ID, the returning champs win their first game of the evening.

Crazy Tronners v. Speedhax (2-1) These two teams seem to have equal skill. I flipped a coin and CT wins the flip and the match. (<3's to MB and roze for at least trying with the high ping)

Dark Syndicate v. Immortal Dynasty (2-0) ID listed 27 members for this ladle, I don't even think 7 of them are active or will show up. The added pressure and EU server gives DS the win.

≡¤≡Tronners v. \\MeetYourMaker (0-2) ummmhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Team.uNk v. ~*SP*~ (0-2) Both close matches. SP will take this win and also Team.uNk's seed.

.dP° v. Deja Vu (0-2) If 6 players show up for Dv, Dv wins. If less than 6 members shows for Dv, Dv still wins.

PRU v. Open Team (2-0) Meh, not going to watch this game.

Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats v. _~Rogue Tronners~_ (2-0) Rogue's average road last ladle will give them no preparation with the tough matches ahead. TX wins cuz.

Elite Eight

uNk.Team v. Crazy Tronners (2-0) Xyron comes back to bite CT in the butt!

Dark Syndicate v. \\MeetYourMaker (0-2) ummmhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

~*SP*~ v. Deja Vu (2-0) Even SP itself cannot beat SP.

PRU v. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats (0-2) Still not watching...or caring.

Final Four

uNk.Team v. \\MeetYourMaker (1-2) Xyron beat liz in the sumo tourney but when put in a huge arena, Xyron is lost and his only hope it to find a corner, maze, and play with his llama. mYm takes the match.

~*SP*~ v. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats (2-0) ya, remember what I said about SP before?

Championship

\\MeetYourMaker v. ~*SP*~ (0-2) Eckz just lost to TaZ in a 1v1 sumo match last night. mYm has no hope.

A got a strange but practical final. \o/

I like spin's unbiased predictions. He even picked us to lose, being in the clan himself.

What a guy, what a guy :P

But frreal, glhf. I'd like to make to the semi's at least this ladle.

Compared to the ladle routes I've gotten (and succeeded in), it was mediocre.

Opening Round

uNa v. Velocity (2-0)
If uNa needs encouragement that my shower vision is going to come true, they couldn't have been given a better opening round opponent; uNa has beaten the newest Vcl in both a fortress war and sumo war, and is more than prepared for this match.

Pure Luck v. ~*SP*~ (0-2)
PL is a very competent fortress team, and will put up a fight against SP; however, that will only prologue this match-up, and SP will inevitably win 2-0, even if the margins are a bit closer than expected.

Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats v. Puddiful Silliness (2-0)
I have doubts that the full Silly Puddy team will show up; even if they do, TX has a solid advantage on many levels. PS can definitely use this as a fantastic practice opportunity against a top level team, an experience that shouldn't be undervalued.

Sweet Sixteen

uNk.Team v. uNa (0-2)
This will be an interesting match. No doubt uNk will feel self assured that the advantage is in their court; they will be surprised when they lose the first match to a solid and unusually/unexpectedly well-prepared uNa team. Second match will be a blow-out win for uNa, as uNk finds themselves unable to regroup and begins to make lots of errors.

Crazy Tronners v. Speedhax (2-0)
What an honor to see former members of uNa on both of these top teams; I really wish I could watch this! It's going be very close, but ultimately I don't feel the Speedhax roster is strong enough to take on the might of CT, thus giving the latter a 2-0 win.

Dark Syndicate v. Immortal Dynasty (2-0)
Besides uNa, DS is the underdog team to watch this Ladle, and in coming Ladles. Their already strong line-up now includes Kill and Clime, and the ID team of nearly 30 people will be no match on a European server.

≡¤≡Tronners v. \\MeetYourMaker (0-2)
It's difficult to know if mYm will even have an opponent show up.

Team.uNk v. ~*SP*~ (0-2)
This will be an interesting match, but I feel SP simply has the stronger team. Bad luck for uNk, having both teams eliminated in the Sweet Sixteen.

.dP° v. Deja Vu (0-2)
I think this looks similar to uNa's first Ladle, Ladle 31, when they faced uNk on round 1. Like uNa was no challenge to the then-moderately skilled uNk, dP will simply be no serious challenge to the moderately skilled DV. However, dP's presumably heavy emphasis on defensive tactics, as less experienced/skilled teams are prone to take part in, may prologue these matches, much like the opening PL vs SP.

PRU v. Open Team (2-0)
Pru has a stable, competent, and solid team, and the Open Team will be no serious challenge.

Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats v. _~Rogue Tronners~_ (2-1)
Both teams here are skilled, and I feel this could go either way. I guessing Durka being signed up as a captain is an indication he will be present, in which case TX will be victorious over R.

Elite Eight

uNa v. Crazy Tronners (2-0)
uNa is now high on energy and momentum, and the situation created here is very similar to CT vs ID in Ladle 21, ironically also in the Quarter-Finals - a traditional underdog playing very competently against a traditional power house who, atm, isn't necessarily at the peak of their power. The latter team won in that match, just as uNa will win this one, due to a solid and well-prepared line-up, in combination with their own energy/momentum high.

Dark Syndicate v. \\MeetYourMaker (2-1)
This will be another surprise upset; DS's solid team will pull out an unexpected narrow win in the first match. mYm will pull their game together for the second match, but ultimately, this solid DS team will pull out a win against a team that has potentially the strongest set of individual players this Ladle (who will no doubt begin to make some entertaining errors during the third match, as they find themselves panicking, losing to a traditional underdog). Liz will ragequit, and mYm will disband.

~*SP*~ v. Deja Vu (2-0)
SP is a strong fortress team, and DV will simply not stand a chance here.

PRU v. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats (0-2)
TX (or R) will have an easier time here than round one. No doubt, Pru is a tough team, but they simply won't stand a chance against their power house opponent.

Final Four

uNa v. DS (2-1)
Who would have thought these two teams would be in the semi-finals earning seeds?!
A dilemma that has not usually needed to be addressed arrives here: Underdog teams usually think of the Ladle as an hour-or-so event, while usual power-houses are prepared to stay engaged for many hours. It's possible that some members of both these teams will have to leave, not having expected to play this long, altering the line-ups. uNa has already taken this into account - I don't have a clue if DS has done the same.
In any case, DS will win the first match against uNa, as our team will have gotten a bit cocky by this point. But ultimately, uNa's solid team will be able to win the next two matches against DS, moving onto the finals.

~*SP*~ v. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats (1-2)
I feel that SP probably has a slightly stronger-line up today, but I get the impression that TX is playing "srs". I don't doubt that both teams will pick up at least one match, but who will win is very difficult to tell. Because of my gut feeling regarding TX, enhanced by the fact that Durka is registered as a leader, I believe TX will pull out the win.

Championship

uNa v. Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats (2-1)
This will definitely be an intense finals - I've grown to really like and respect the TX players, and I'll definitely enjoy playing in this. uNa's momentum will have been sort of disrupted in losing a match against DS, and will lose the first match here against TX. However, the solid uNa team, bursting with confidence at this point that my shower vision must be coming true, will win the next two matches and win the 49th TRONIC Ladle.

The individual upsets that will be taking place in this Ladle, not to mention DS and uNa both making the semis, with the latter team winning the whole thing, will make this the most interesting Ladle to watch ever. I really hope this one is being broadcast.

Many thanks to INW for the template!

Edit: corrected "ladder" to "latter" - thank you for catching that Sylla!

Opening Round
uNa - Velocity | I've seen uNa members more often than v's, so I'll give them the cake. 2-1.
Pure Luck - ~*SP*~ | This SP lineup is just too much for PL. (Basically because eber can't attack! :P) 0-2
Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats - Puddiful Silliness | Would be puddiful silliness to not give TX the 2-0.

Sweet Sixteen
uNk.Team - uNa | We all know unk can hole any team like wanting to have swiss cheese, but with this team either Xyron fails holing or it's not needed. 2-0.
Crazy Tronners - Speedhax | CT is gonna win as badly as never before, and Speedhax...not. You're just a little stone on their road for their ladle win. 2-0.
Dark Syndicate - Immortal Dynasty | I've barely seen 3 members of DS online at once (in all servers together), so I give ID the 0-2.
≡¤≡Tronners - \\MeetYourMaker | Indeed, meet your maker and learn how ladle fortress works. 0-2.
Team.uNk - ~*SP*~ | Lé epic fight. This can go either way, but since I got a bet running with Fofo, I'll give Team.uNk the edge and not give SP a chance for a seed. 2-1.
.dP° - Deja Vu | It's not like, these two teams have the epic skills sets, but it's like a good fight "of the 2nd division." 0-2.
PRU - Open Team | Ashi will be busy writing quotes from shakespeare or something. Which means, he wont get to conquer pru's zone and let them win 2-0.
Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats - _~Rogue Tronners~_ | TX in american server? gl R. 2-0.
Elite Eight
uNk.Team vs. Crazy Tronners | Lé another epic fight. unk is gonna be truly motivated getting the second back-to-back-to-back winning streak in ladle history, and their lineup is top notch. Butbutbut, there's still ct. Getting back on the glorious road, uNk.Team is a hard enemy. I still give the slight edge to CT. 1-2.
Immortal Dynasty - \\MeetYourMaker | ID is active, yet mYm won't have problems crushing their party. 0-2.
Team.uNk - Deja Vu | Uhm.....2-0.
PRU - Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats | Not an american server! I predict two close matches where TX is not gonna loose anything, though. 0-2.
Final Four
Crazy Tronners - \\MeetYourMaker | Another 3 close matches, like, mYm seems to dominate first, but CT wakes up then and goes for the 2-1 win then.
Team.uNk - Twi¦×¦ted ¦×¦ats | Someone from TX is gonna get disconnected or something, and player advantage will give Team.uNk a not so easy, still a 2-0 win.
Championship
Crazy Tronners - Team.uNk | Major Hard Road for CT so far, and the second time they face unk. CT is gonna pull out some energy from the reserves and win this 2-1. 50-100, 100-80, 102-100. :P
