I actually ended up taking post-it notes, writing all of my chats, and then posting them to the bottom part of my computer. The bad part is I sometimes die when looking away from the screen to see the chats.

What did she do? She was the heroine of my youth as long as she was Laura Ingalls. I don't think I know of anything she's done afterwards.

To such a cute face? Shame on her. On the other hand, many a female screen celebrity gets talked into it by managers, husbands or "friends" i bet...

She apparently got her first nose job after turning 18 and becoming independent from her mother. Contrast this with the increasing numbers of celebrity/rich moms that are buying their daughters nose and boob jobs at even younger ages. Great example that sets for impressionable (if not so bright) teenage girls.

Or, you know, popular culture. Men are doing it too, increasingly so. Plastic surgery (and I include botox) has become rampant among celebrities and the wealthy; it has always occurred, of course, but now it's like the expected norm among themselves. They don't even look like real people anymore. Fitting, considering most believe they're a special class of people, validated by the dunderheaded populace.

The less wealthy, but still stupid and shallow enough to buy into this craptastic celebrity-obsessed culture that pervades our society, still try to achieve this unnatural, horrific "glamourous beauty" through all manner of activities. Tanning (various methods both natural and artificial, none good) or skin lightening (not to be minimised), excessive working out (as differentiated from healthy excercise), steroids ("juicing"), plucking and tweezing and waxing, painting up oneself like a coquettish clown, hair straitening (particularly among sistas), unhealthy fad and crash diets, and so on, even fashion. It's not any better than actual plastic surgery.
