Armagetron Dedicated on YDL

Hi

I wanted to know if it is possible to run the dedicated server on a PPC with YellowDogLinux installed on ??

I've tried to install the source version and the client worked well. But I can't start the dedicated server...

did you do the right configure command for dedicated? i forget what it is right now but you can find it by ./configure --help

I think i did everything right, but I get this message :

armagetron-dedicated: armagetron-dedicated: cannot execute binary file

what did I do wrong ?

I've put ./configure --build=ppc (and powerpc)

both worked but they didn't install the dedicated server anymore.

I don't need the client, I only need the Dedicated Server, if there is a possibility to install only the dedicated server that would be great...

Maybe it's making the wrong type of binary? I'm really in the dark here as I don't have YDL, and I don't think any of the developers do... If none of us comes up with anything, you might want to consider asking at some sort of YDL forums, or linuxquestions.org, or something, because those places tend to have a much larger knowledge base.

yellow dog is a mac linux isn't it? so that's powerpc

um, did you do ./configure --disable-glout?
