Screen Gone Blurry and fullscreen is smaller after alt codes
Screen Gone Blurry and fullscreen is smaller after alt codes
So im on a macbook and I was messing with alt codes trying to get the currency signs. I was messing with my user.cfg, and i changed my name with the currency sign and I saved it with a word document. When I played armagetron, my fullscreen now has armagetron inside it smaller and everything is sort of blurry! I need help with this... I tried to save my document again in text but no effect. Please, I need help. I want to play armagetron like i used to.

That's the trouble right there. All AA files need to be pure text files, and latin1 encoded if you're on 0.2.8.x.PK|Fake wrote:I saved it with a word document.
You probably just did it wrong. Use TextEdit and switch it over to text mode before you save. Some Mac dude will tell you how shortly.PK|Fake wrote:I tried to save my document again in text

Edit all Armagetron config files using TextEdit.
When opening any config files already included with or created by Armagetron, TextEdit should keep them as "plain text" files, and when edited, should automatically save as such.
If for some reason you want to create one from scratch, or copy and paste into a new document to edit, then you want to do one of two things:
A) Prior to creating the new document, make sure that in the Preferences, under the New Document pane, under Format, you select "Plain Text."
- or -
B) If you prefer to the leave the above setting as Rich Text, then at some point prior to saving be sure to go to the Format menu (in the menu bar, not the preferences) and select "Make Plain Text." You ought to see how the font changes.
When or after saving, you'll have to manually add the .cfg extension (and delete .txt, if it's there).

Re: Screen Gone Blurry and fullscreen is smaller after alt c
Im sorry but none of these are working! I have deleted user.cfg in Word format AND in Rich Text Format, and nothing has changed. I made the cfg file plain text, still nothing. Do I have to download armagetron all over? Would this affect anything? Help...

ATTENTION: everything is fixed, I went through all that trouble just to go into game and change my screen size and resolution to fix it! O_O silly me.
