The seed is given up if CTb does not fit these qualifications:
Wiki wrote:Retaining your seed
The team name must remain the same. The exception is a slight variation or abbreviation of the name. However, it should be obvious to the person making the brackets this is a returning team with a seed. Please use good sense if you must use a variant or abbreviation.
The team must have either:
The same captain (or at least one captain out of the two, if there were two) and three additional players who were on the challenge board the previous ladle or
Five players who were on the challenge board in the previous ladle. Player names are restricted to the same guidelines as team names (above).
If your team does not meet these requirements you lose your seed and lower seeds move up to fill your position.

That post was made long before the current listing of players for ID.

Brackets are done!

Went smooth this time, though everyone except INW had forgotten to add their servers to the wiki! But we managed to solve it anyway.
Thanks dlh for helping out!

Server owners remember to update your servers before Sunday!
These 8 servers are expected to be used: http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php? ... erver_List

Good luck everyone!

We are supposed to play uNk in INW's NJ although only one uNk and two PRU are Americans...

(we don't mind if we have to play there but we could also use PRU fort or any other free EU server)

I heard the same for that tourney from another source.

I did notice the amount of Euro teams playing in that part of the bracket this ladle.
Wouldn't benefit any of them to play in an American server.

It looks like there are maybe 5 or 6 teams this ladle or have a majority of American players?

My apologies for not properly fixing the listing of my servers before the brackets were set. So that another Ladle enthusiast can make changes, if desired, let me explain what changes I have made.

Immortal Dynasty Chicago has been moved to a server in Texas. However, it has been replaced with 2 superior servers.

Immortal Dynasty Kansas is not like the old R kansas servers. It is on a true dedicated server, and has worked very well in testing.

Immortal Dynasty New York is the best server I have ever had in New York. For now, still a VPS, but a premium one. In comparative testing vs. the Kansas server, because it is not a true dedicated server, it's performance is not quite as nice. However, it does seem to have the most "balanced" ping, this far making it pretty equal for Europeans and North Americans. It has proven to be very ping stable.

Once again, I am sorry to do this after the brackets have been set. I have been working around the house in an ongoing string of 14-16 hour days to get caught up with the effects of a large limb that damaged our garage, and the need to completely rewire the the circuit that feeds the main bathroom in our house. It was so poorly wired, by a prior homeowner, that a power surge caused a short in the circuit, because of faultly wiring. I have to separate it into 3 circuits, etc. Plus, I am the house husband that does the majority of the cleaning and cooking. Oh, and I have an Internet Marketing Business, too.

I had played there before fine, but for whatever reason that day it was pretty much unplayable

If both teams want to play on a different server I don't see why you couldn't. But of course, make sure it runs ladle settings.

The servers are as randomized as they could be without disturbing the flow. Frobot didn't take ping into account, sorry. :)

compguygene: I went ahead and changed "ID Chicago" to "-=}ID<" on the brackets; go ahead and use your best one on Sunday! With the information given, I'd root for Kansas or NY. It doesn't affect my team though so I won't argue that any further.

our fort server is down and it won't be back anytime soon. can we play in Z-Man's? That seems to be the only available server. The winner of our match can play in G5s afterwards.

Sure, you can use the server. I will include all ladle settings. But... you know the server ;)
