Because you seem to get more amusement out of ridicule and humiliation than other forms of humour?
Re: Whovians in armagetron?
I was laughing at how random and unneccessary his posts were, not on anyone's response to them
Also, last episode was epic, but the revelation was dull. Everyone knew that was comming.

Re: Whovians in armagetron?
so... who saw the new episode? thought it was pretty good really didnt expect that part after they crashed into hitlers office. good episode overall.
Re: Whovians in armagetron?
Anyways. my brain has been majorly ****** by the previous episodes last ten minutes. essentially river is going to kill the doctor, which i had expected, but she doesn't know of it, and she thinks its a myth that the doctor will die that day, it just skipped 200 years worth of episodes, river dies/lives sort in the 3rd or 4th of the new seasons, and omg i'm just at the point of confusion where my brain is going to explode. i have found like 4 possible plot holes right now and am concerned with how they are going to fix them. well plot holes mean nothing when time travel is possible but i want to see how they fix them!
Re: Whovians in armagetron?
Its a bit confusing I agree, but I generally get the gist.
The Doctor supposedly spent 100 years or so searching for melody (so 100 years over the summer break) and then has spent 100 years since seeing the Ponds (so between the last 2 episodes)
I think this episode is going to have a large amount of dot connecting to do in just 45 minutes, but if it continues with the current trend of deus ex endings (killed by the power of love? For crying out loud), I will be extremely dissapointed.
All I do know is theres a christmas special with Smith enlisted as the Doctor.

Re: Whovians in armagetron?
so sylla how did you like the ending? i sort of expected that would happen when the doctor met the future mini robot guy thing from the first episode of the second half of the season "lets kill hitler" or something like that. but i thought it was a good episode.

Uhh no offense, but if the conversations in this page are anything to judge by, this sounds like a really stupid show
But I guess I'll have to watch it to be sure, I'll watch it if I see it on

we just arent trying to spoil the majority of the plot clutch, it probabally doesnt make sense to you.
Re: Whovians in armagetron?
It seems to be quite popular for a "stupid show" lol.
Personally I was both satisfied yet dissapointed with the ending. I was expecting much worse (some lame deus ex such as the doctor eating fishfingers and custard, or being rescued by the silence... although thinking about that now the latter could have been really interesting).
As I said, on the other hand, it was a little too easy, the episode seemed almost hallucinatory (although thats probably relevent given the nature of the topic), and of course, far more questions were given, and barely any answers given.
You?

Not to mention, it's the longest-running ('63-'89; '05-present) and most successful science fiction program ever.syllabear wrote:It seems to be quite popular for a "stupid show" lol.

No, I've never watched but a handful of the Tom Baker-era Dr. Who episodes (they used to run on PBS). Oh, and one episode from the newer one, involving some shadow evil creature thing(s) and "data ghosts." ::shrug:: Just thought you all might appreciate the ad. Oh well.

Happened to run across another one. Don't know the source, unfortunately.

I also have a NSFW animated gif if anyone's interested.
I also recalled that one of the first games for the Macintosh was called Daleks!, which you can now play in your browser I also have a NSFW animated gif if anyone's interested.
