what is the length of characters in a tron name?

i had no idea where to put it, but it sort of fits support in that a member of DpG needs to add about 6 or so characters to his tron name [as a clan tag].

If you go to player settings and edit the name, his name takes up all but the last available character. If i counted right, there are 15 available characters per tron member. that means that each tron name cannot exceed 15 characters.
However, is there a way to somehow change this through say a config file or something?

Im a bit curious that's all.

There is a way for a server admin to make your name unusually long, but you cannot violate the 15 character limit with your client alone.

I don't think this is possible anymore (at least in sty+ct is not work anymore)

I would be glad to hear that, I think the overly long names are just annoying. (notice I didn't say how to do it?)
