Here are my predictions:
Opening Round:
TX vs Amateurs 2-0
The title holder faces a strong open team.
PRU vs SA 2-0
Last ladle we learned that it's not difficult to beat a team like sa when all of your mates grind. We won't have Freako, Hamar or Sixzero. But there are enough others left.
PS vs UNA 2-0
UNA doesn't give up. Good luck!
CTa vs SP 2-1
Two absolutely good teams. This can go either way. CT doesn't have Xyron, but that won't stop them.
R vs ¢ 2-0
The majority of R won't have a server advantage, but they are the team that is most experienced.
CTb vs unk.team 0-2
unk wins unless the cters listed on the wiki show up. I haven't seen Voodoo and arks in ages.
DS vs ID 2-0
US server. ID wins. Wait...where are Red and Boxed? And Sin? And Arilou? (not that anyone misses chah... )
TU vs Team.unk 0-2
This is mainly potter and rest vs syllabear and rest. Potter's entourage seems stronger though.

R has olive and Titan. Unk has slash and Mazuffer. This can go either way, but from what I can tell R seems to be more organized. They use VoIP. I don't know enough about unk's stunning holing techniques (which sometimes backfire - but they're fun to watch). R lost a match to SA last ladle but perhaps they just had a moment of madness like we did.
DS vs team.unk 0-2
Wildcat and fingerbib are underrated. Potter couldn't survive 2 seconds without his heart-lung machine.

Today I find it hard to distinguish between teams.
I used to put them in three categories - the solid teams, the champions and the underdogs. You can decide for yourself which team belongs in which category.
It has become easier to win a ladle. SP, TX, DS, ID and CT don't have their classic lineups anymore and will need some more Ladles to get back in shape. We were struggling to get a full team last ladle, i didn't really care that we lost to sa. We had other problems. And R, didn't they win two or three ladles? how could they lose a match to sa? Ah right, they didn't have Titan and olive. Against this backdrop, it's clear that the team which still has most of its core players wins, regardless if they used to be on a different level.

Word: R were probably also exhausted after their match against Tu, I know for sure I was emotionally and physically drained after that.
