Personally, I only recognised him from when he co-hosted/hosted shows on the now-defunct TechTV (before it was bought out by G4, who subsequently backstabbed all the people it promised to retain, and proceeded to take the channel into the gutter). I sent this message during the time this topic was merged by Z-Man and had to go back to search the original post. After reading some of the previous posts I've noticed that 'searching previous topics' seems to be recommended here. Maybe this is a pet peeve of programmers who feel the forums should be more organized? Nothing wrong with that I suppose. A simple comment mentioning to 'please search previous posts' would of sufficed.
