if the owner TANK is user 2 on this forum

could be that hack that creates an admin user logs in allows you to view all posts etc etc then logs out and deletes the user

Icemans paranoia again. As far as im aware user =1 is a test user that phpbb uses during installation. Im also not sure if phpbb uses that user as a template for all other users who join there after. If you look in the mysql database it shows that the =1 is normal user (no admin priveleges) and is called anonymous. The admin that creates the board is always =2.

When you create an invision board (not sure about the new ones) the person that creates the boards is user=1 but there is also an installation test user user=-1.

I know what iceman means about a hack been used but in this case its not the hack its all standard stuff. With the hack the user gos first in the memeberlist (the user=1 doesnt appear in the memberlist) and if you move your mouse over the members name the users number is different to position. The hack that went around was with a user number 99999 but that could have been changed. If you want to see what i mean go to phpbb.com look at there memberlist, they got stung with the hack and there first user is now googlebot (renamed) but the user number is 91760. The admin that set up the board is now the 2nd in the memberlist rather than first.
