Fortress Brawl
http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php? ... troduction
I think some would be interested in a remake of the old Fortress Brawl tournament. I'm planning for January 30th, but that's up for discussion. We'll start with the basics, player sign-ups, self-explanatory I think, add yourself if you're interested in playing(including team captains, which will be chosen later).

Most of the old introduction will remain to govern how we run this tournament, though the rules are gone, if anyone remembers the tournament and wants to contribute to that, go ahead.

Re: Fortress Brawl
I'll be interested to see how you pick team captains.

Re: Fortress Brawl
The introduction page already explains how team captains are chosen. Through a community discussion it seems. This thread can be used if you want to get an early start on that.

Re: Fortress Brawl
So how many teams will there be? Players signed up divided by 6?
Also: I am willing to be a team leader if the rest agree

Re: Fortress Brawl
That's something to decide after sign-ups, players divided by 6 leaves no subs, bad method imo. Most likely teams of 8 or 9.
Re: Fortress Brawl
Hah, I was thinking of trying to organise something along these lines not too long ago. Then I realised I'm far too lazy to do any organising

Re: Fortress Brawl
Yeah, yeah, I've been organizing a lot of stuff lately, I'm cool with taking the time to do it.

Re: Fortress Brawl
Defense is American Defence is British
Funny how Google Crome underlines the word "Defence" in red because it is spelt incorrectly!!!!

Re: Fortress Brawl
Yea they are both correct like color and colour. But ffs people quit spelling lose as "loose" two completely different words.
Re: Fortress Brawl
The mistake that annoys me most is mixing up it's and its.
Not only because almost everyone has it wrong. But because sometimes, in a given sentence, either one could work and it can be hard to know which meaning the writer intends.
As for the fort brawl, I've heard lots of positive comments about it, but I wasn't around for the last one. It'll be great to participate
and I've learned many useful things from teaching various things in tron. So if there's teaching involved, I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Fortress Brawl
Good point you nab.
About the fort brawl.
I wasn't around during the first one and I obviously have no idea how it works. Anyway someone could explain it to me in depth?
