As you could all have seen , I am not much on grid lately.
my school network blocks all accesses from all ports but 80 and 22 =P
2 questions:
1. is there a way I change the client port for arma? (so armagetorn uses 22 for example)
2. if not, what ports are used? is it UDP or TCP?
thanks =)
Client Port
Re: Client Port
1. No.
2. It's UDP, and the open ports are likely TCP, so 1. is irrelevant.
Also, it's the remote port that's 80 and 22, the local port is random for most protocols. So you'd need to convince server admins to switch to those ports.

Re: Client Port
got that, I can open any ports, so which one should I open?
kyle proposed 4533 for master server, is it the same for basic servers?

Re: Client Port
By default the opened port is 4534 I do believe.
At least that is the port I had opened by default some time ago.

Re: Client Port
To forward the ports on my computer to host a dedicated server for tron, I had to port forward the port 4534.
So if that is what your asking then yes.
If you are asking whether the client has to have a different port forwarded to connect to the server, I don't know but my best guess would be the 4534 port. (:
