I like predictions and I really miss Concord's powerrankings.
Mine will never be as good, but I'll give it a try.
1. CTA
CT'ers always blamed emmy for their loss, not because he sucks in-game but he sucks at being present during ladles. He's back to win and so is his team. Woned's intelligence and gonzap's excessive use of capital letters make them the perfect couple to lead the team. Add some intelligent sweepers and you've got a potential winning team. CT's strenght lies at, as I said before, their many members. If a capable sweeper drops out they'll just add another capable sweeper. Noteworthy is the absence of dreadlord and wap. My guess: wap has an early bedtime (yes, we've all been through this) and dreadlord's sweeping ability's are overclassed by puuquie's/pike's? This strength is also, in my eyes, their weakness. People stress the importance of teamplay, but with a constantly changing team will their chemistry work out? If they can, they win. Else, dunno.
2. R
It's tradition to put your own team at 1 and I hate tradition. R's strenght lies in the combination of perfect chemistry, personal skill and advanced tactics. People noticed the pos. 2 grind the last ladle, however, no one knows why we've done it. A conservative mind combined with progressive play gives the team the element of surprise. Titan and poke are like conjoined twins (though Titan is the older one who bullies the latter). Matoso brings humour, lacka brings silence, concord brings awesome one-liners and I'm the annoying one. The team proved it can win, the new question is: 'do they want to?'.
3. DA
A curious combination of very-rusty, rusty, a little rusty and non-rusty players. Old names such as weed, garismo and eggcozy return. Garismo will probably function as their 'delta', and with suberb sumoers in their team they might get quick wins each round. If they get a headstart they will be unstoppable. The old plus squad has proven they can work together and has nothing to loose. On paper, they can win. But will they surpass our expectations?

4. Speeders
How much as I hate to say this, flex is good. He has proven himself worthy of running a team and will try his very best to win. Their weakness is their center, because they have none. Nubilous is an utterly annoying defender and will be well-guarded by flex and fofo. But are roger_that, psy and viper strong enough to break through the enemy's defence?
5. TX
The oldies probably won't care less about another ladle win, the newbies are eager and motivated to crush the opponents. They have the power, but maybe lack the motivation.
6. PRU
I noticed a great increase in skill for the younger PRU's. Too bad their slogan doesn't count for fort.
7. UNK
If you would've asked me to rank this team before I played with them, I'd have placed them in the top 3. Unk's ideology conflicts with their goal. They are fully democratic but lack a leader. No leadership results in total chaos, and chaos equals epic fail.
8. CTB
The ct applicants will show their best. No lack in motivation but a huge one in organisation.
9. Oracle
I am bored wirh writing predictions by now and can't come up with anything interesting. Oracle surely isn't bad, but they can't compete with the best.
10. SPB
I doubt if all of them will show. If they do, they might bring some surprise, but I dont believe in miracles.
I find the rest of the teams fairly equal. I hope one of them steps up to grows into a new powerhouse. However, hope alone isn't enough.

Drug Addicts are starting to become a good team at this point, with Godzilla providing some strategic aces up her sleeve and teen probably being one of the best attackers in the game at the moment. The solid 1200, eggcozy and Eckz, along with the always encouraging garisimo will all contribute to the team and let them steal the first match, while _~R~_ will be busy telling jokes and talking like rawrbats in /team.
Hownever, once _~R~_ realize they're not up against beginners, they'll have to use all their knowledge, experience and teamwork to turn the match over. It'll be tough & intense, but they'll pull through in the end. Titanoboa is tired of losing 1-2, 98-x in the semis.

_~R~_ vs CT. An incredible and a surprisingly even matchup. CT might just be R's favorite opponent, especially since last ladle, and R has a lot to prove. There's no logical way to predict this match, it can really go either way.
