So many people come on here and scream about the Ladle... and I think everyone needs to just chill out and admit that it's because they're booooored. The Ladle happens once a month and it's only a success if enough people create/solve enough problems. I am definitely guilty of this. I lived in El Paso for six months...

Anyone else looking forward to CTa playing CTb in the semi's?!?!

Servers don't get randomized, but teams do. The servers are selected based on reliability, then alternated US/EU.

They should though, shouldn't they? Now that 4 of the teams are preset on the brackets it's all of a sudden possible to be biased when selecting the servers.

Yeah, Titan and I randomized the servers last ladle when we were setting up the brackets. The first round servers were selected by us, then randomized. The remaining slots were filled up equally based on the first randomization.

For the first round server randomization is good but definitely not for the later rounds. I don't want to play on a crap server just because it was randomly chosen.

After looking through the ladle history, it appears that this ladle has deviated from the previous pattern of US/EU servers, which I think works well to prevent the brackets from being tampered with as Titan mentioned. Could we fix this?
