Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
even though you get it, to further explain it, If you adjust times the time you play will actually be the exact same time (in your updated timezone), we just have to change the GMT time because that does not switch for Daylight savings. If you don't change times it is an hour later.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
Just a bump. No action necessary. The less discussion we have here, the better things are right?

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
'nother bump since the Fort Cafe tournament is over. We can move some ideas here if the erupt.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
Things seem pretty good right now (to me). I just would like a quick revival of the rules about team switching/adding. It doesn't really matter to me if you're allowed to add players to the team once the ladle has started (given that they weren't already playing/on the challenge board), but I think there should be some clarity on it. Maybe a quick vote on what should be allowed in this particular instance?

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
big holes!
Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
small holes, 2v2 unconq and i'll be happy again
7v7 would be cool though. can we have 6v6 vs 7v7 vote or should that wait until another quarterly?
I remember some discussion about 7v7 being interesting because it adds one (not two) position(s), which means every team has to choose whether to put the 7th player as attack or defense... will add some variation (and theorethically also speed up games a bit?)... +I can think of many interesting strats that can be done with this 7th player, but that's nothing to talk about here.

Small holes are really annoying
We need to make them big.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
Medium holes will make all happy? =S
I think 6v6 is better than 7v7, but if more ppl wanna 7v7, we can vote.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
I would vote for big holes again, and +1 to 7v7.
Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
There was a noticeable difference between the lag with 6on6 and 8on8.
I vote 6on6 every time.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
Mkay's right. 8v8 was awfully laggy for me in the beginning of rounds, with walls disappearing until I approached them. (This was especially difficult while defending. I only knew my own walls were there out of memory/because enemies weren't passing through the opening.) I don't exactly know what 7v7 would be like in terms of lag, but I don't want to risk it until it's fully tested. And fyi, G5's clearly handles 9v9 well, but other servers don't, so if you want to test it, make sure to test it in as many ladle servers as possible.

Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
The only excessive complaints I saw from 8v8 during the tournament was when there was a hell of a lot of players in and around one zone. Usually, this was caused by Zap's centers, which ended in a bunch of players from both teams sumoing in the zone near each other, which was the only time I saw people complaining about disappearing tails.
Re: Ladle 39 Voting Discussion
Tails disappeared for me many times, while normal attacking...
